Zeppelin + IC is pretty cool.
Just made a flying mining machine which is fully automated.  :P

I just finished going to the end in creative mode, and raping the enderdragon while feasting on it's wailing flesh and bones. What did I miss?

I would have done the same if Zepplin mod wasn't unstable as all hell.

Zipping around, pumping up lava pools and mining resources wherever the heck I want.

I put max blocks at 80 :P
I also want them to have buildcraft not crash the game...

Zepplin isn't as unstable as you think it is. Just listen to the instructions and don't do anything stupid with it. Honestly, I don't know why the Yogscast seem so content on slamming it.

...because it IS unstable? I've had it crash just by trying to land one of the things, Not to mention the problems with randomly falling through the ship's floor. It usually works fine, yes. But it's crashes are completely unpredictable.

I have not come into contact with the bugs you have pointed out. I a not saying that they don't occur, but I think they occur not as often as you think.

Any of the equivalent exchange blocks cause it to CTD when you try and take off with them attached, and you do occasionally fall through the floor.
Other than that I love the hell out of zeppelin mod, floating fortresses are the best kind.

 Running Zepplins with just vanilla blocks: Works alright, aside from clipping issues and some constructions cutting off for no discernible reason.

 Running with any sort of mod: Oh god no.

Blocks need to be connected to one of the sides of a block to count as part of the Zepplin.

Actually, Industrialcraft blocks work fine when attached, aside from not being usable when the ship is in motion, it even saves the energy levels in the machines apparently, and it works with the campfire from Xie's mod.

Buildcraft and EE are both pissy with it though.
