It's properly been mentioned already but I just stumbled onto it... For some reason its beat is making me want to listen to it over and over again...

That song almost encapsulates what it is to be a dwarf, but it doesn't address trap-building, elf-hating, or creative anatomical editing. A for effort, Yogscast.

It's so... hypnotic...

Has anyone else noticed that if you fall really far into a spiderweb, when you (finally) fall out the other side, you die as if you fell unhindered?

It's scary how slowly updates get churned out, way back when Notch could pump out something like 1.8 in a matter of 2-3 weeks.

I see what you did there :p
I don't see what I did there

I'm curious now too... I want to know what you did there!

Spider webs do nothing for fall damage. Even falling into webs from non-damaging distances will give you a heart worth of damage.

Living in a giant red mushroom is the best thing ever.
I have mooshrooms for mushrooms, beef and leather, and in the swamp-island nearby, there are brown mushrooms and iron nearby. Also pigs. And sugar canes.

My friend likes to find small floating islands to build his bases in.  They just don't have enough room for me.  I'm like an in-game claustrophobic.

My current world plonked me on a tiny island in the middle of the ocean, nothing as far as the eye could see. THANKFULLY there was a Tree on that island, as it was one of the Plains biomes where trees rarely grow. I built a boat and headed West. (Pretty sure it was west) in search for the mainland. I went on and on and on and on, and as night was beginning to fall I saw land. I though WOOT mainland. Then I curved around the bay and took to shore, climbed the small hill and my jaw dropped. It was an Island, largish in fact but still an Island. I was still alone. Only three trees here. I quickly took them down and planted the few saplings they dropped and built a quick shelter from the wood. Then ran around frantically smacking the bushes for seeds as no animals would ever spawn there regularly...

After planting the few seeds I could gather I took a quick yet detailed walk around the island. I heard a tickle near the coast. The sound of falling water. I dove in and found a little cave, inside was coal and a few lumps of iron before it stopped. I was tempted to dig deeper but I was getting hungry. I came to the surface to discover that Night was at its peak. I took to my shelther as I had nearly drowned due to coming up the wrong opening. In the morning I found rotten meat. The only source of food, I gingerly scoffed it down and while feeling sick in my stomach it was better full. I return now to the work in trying to find a more safer entrance to those caves, but it looks like naught. Perhaps I shall need to build a safe entrance...

To work then...

EDIT::

I travel down into the stone. I hear water trickling to the side and the stone was warm *Lit from the other side, normally means magma. I go up a level and dig through. A large open ravine greets me, water spills somewhere from above to the ground turning the lava to obsidian. Regardless I look around. I see Redstone and facepalm myself for forgetting the Iron Pick. I dig out what Iron I can see and continue to look around. Up above I spy wood and an abandoned Mineshaft. Great I think, I can reforge my tools after that. I head up and do so, collecting what Iron and Coal I can see...

I adventure down the shaft finding ore and coal and gold and redstone, Gobbling them up with glee, I stumble across a chest left discarded by the miners who have passed and think to myself the old motto. Finders Keepers... I pry open the chest and twinkling at me are two Diamonds. I couldn't believe it. I carry them for a long time as I make my way through the mineshafts collecting the goods around me. But I get cocky. I finally decide to turn the Diamonds into a Sword, as it would protect me better I thought. I come out into the open and hear a noise of something falling from a height behind me before a Hiss begins. I turn around and wack the thing with my new sword. But it was no good. BOOM....

I held my bleeding arm as I look around me before chewing some bread for a chance to recover. The moment I draw my blade again....

HIIISSSSSSSSSS.... BOOM...........

I return to the living on the small island where I remeber waking before. But this time there is no tree waiting for me. The boat right took a day and it would be weeks before I could return by hand........

I am not swimming....

What's the seed and world name? What version? It sounds like the PERFECT place to do the Dryad Challenge!

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.
