From what he said, low FPS people will do even better during sunset/sunrise. It used to really eat FPS before with all the chunk updates, not anymore.

And it's a single global variable when calculating what color a block should have. It's not going to eat any memory.

Hmm... I'm intrigued. If you're interested, the main post has lots of information about classes and leveling, and not a lot else - the idea/suggestion thread seems to have more details about the mod's features, though I don't know how much of this stuff has been implemented and how much falls under the 'WIP' category.

Edit: Scratch that, he's nicely added diamonds to any bullet-points that have been implemented. So, yeah.

It's actually a compilation of a bunch of other people's mods. For example, pistons, KodiachiZero's Battle Towers, Millénaire, etc.

 Selling beta released of a game are a useful way of indie developers to get in some cash to finish their project. It's a good strategy on paper, but then people start feeling entitled to a full game here and now with no breaks 'cuz we paid for a product and you had better deliver.

 I do wonder what investors at EA are like, and how comparable they are to fans of indie developers using this method.

MoCreatures mod with hostile creature frequency set to max is amazing. Every night, ogres find new and creative ways to tear apart whatever sort of structure you built to protect yourself. They make creepers look tame in comparison.
