Minecraft seems to hate mods. PlasmaCraft and ModLoader black screens. Even after I deleted Meta INF.

Maybe it's incompatible with itself?! :O
Does it blackscreen as it's starting up or when you load a save?

Look for errors in the modloader.txt.  If that file doesn't exist, you installed ML wrong.
Install IDList and see if any IDs are doubled up in the list.  This would be pointed out in modloader.txt too, but I like the mod for having a list of IDs in use when adding new mods, too.

Edit: I dropped IC, PC, and the ModLoader into the MC Jar, deleted Meta INF, and it blacks screens. What to do now?

Are you sure you're using compatible versions? Plasmacraft doesn't seen to be updated for 1.4, at least not from the post I looked at on the Minecraft forums. It still prominently says "For Minecraft 1.3."

If you're using versions 1.3 of Minecraft to run Plasma craft, you may also need a 1.3 version of Modloader and IndustrialCraft.

Brotip: This is the sort of shit that got you muted. He's doing his best to keep what is supposed to be a SECRET because part of the fun is finding the secrets out, and since people are without even spoilering it spreading it around ruins if for some.

As for the HAYO, I'm one of the few people who actually appreciate this is meant to give people a laugh. Yes, he should include a non-marketer speak version, but I don't blame him since so damn much shit is added, it would take a week to re-type all that stuff.

Just because something infuriates you doesn't give you the right to freak out, when it's your choice whether or not to use that mod and/or information.

 You have to understand that secret recipes won't stay secret. It's a nice fun touch, but word will go out. You can discourage people form posting them in the official thread but threatening to remove them is kinda prissy. And don't get the wrong idea when I say the following, I love this style of presentation. Valve did an amazing job of making their updates for TF2 delicious with all the little comedic moments. Such a style is a good way of making something like this fun. The guy in charge of IndustrialCraft just kinda sucks at it. It only serves to get in the way with one simple repeated joke that isn't used by anybody else and thus cannot apply for meme status.

 Although perhaps threatening him could use a flatter presentation. It turned me off of using the mod and I stopped reading it halfway through because it was too tiring to slog through, but it wasn't offensively bad.

It'd be like if toady added a secret feature to DF and he only told 5 people about the feature because they were his supremeist golden circle of users and then said if we found it out and told anyone he'd remove it.
I'm pretty sure you'd feel kind of betrayed by it. It's a real stupid move and it makes the mod author seem like an immature punk. And don't bother arguing that I am immature, that's not what we are speaking about and it's completely a different topic.

I don't mind it much, but I do wish he was BETTER at the joke he's trying to push. It's a good idea, badly executed.

See, Saint, you're dead wrong. He gave enough hints that anyone with 2 and a half minutes of trying combinations could figure it out. He alerted everyone to these, just not the exact recipe.

And no, I wouldn't feel betrayed, because I could just peek into the RAWs, and see all there was to see. And if you mean it would be hard coded, those things are in games all the time. There's a name for it, even. Easter eggs.

Also, one last life Brotip. Reinventing the wheel is nice and all, but there are better things to do. Learn from your mistakes, and the mistakes of others, and move on. Learn to pick your fights, and be a better person for it.

To others: Yeah, while the presentation was poor, my inner schitzo filled in words that were missing, and it came across as a nice jab are how silly some adverts are, while still conveying the information that needed conveying. While for sheer minecrafting, it's less than useful as a resource, I appreciate it as a person who enjoys passive aggressiveness. Thus my fondness for P/Brotips.
