LCS - The Wiki Update-a-thon
« on: May 12, 2009, 09:55:03 am »

The Wiki is here. http://lcs.wikidot.com/

Afraid to tamper with the inner workings of the internets? Don't feel you have the competence to edit wiki pages yourself? Then just point to errors, out of date information, or missing information on the wiki in this thread, with the correct information, and it will be automagically done for you.

Progress so far:
  • Front Page updated to link to the latest version and source code.
  • The Questions page has been updated to include gender selection and the switch from gaining a sleeper judge to a love slave Laywer
  • The Sleeper page updated. Almost twice as long now, to account for new and missing information
  • Dodge skill added, Tactics marked as outdated
  • Updated basic interface page to mention the ability to buy a car.
  • Added brief page on buying a car. Should probably be merged into another page
  • Edited activities pages to account for the change from Sell Liberal Art/Music to Sell Portrait Sketches and Play Street Music. The related pages are also changed to conform with the latest version. Marked Electronic Protection Racket as outdated.
  • Rezan corrected a few spell/grammar/phrasing mistakes in the beginner's guide, and bolded the "topics".
  • Yanlin is Promoting Liberalism
  • Marked Hand to Hand as outdated, added Martial Arts to the Skill List.
  • Locations updated by Jack A T

General things that need to be done:
  • Link pages via wikiwords where appropriate.
  • Edit pages for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Add pages and information where needed.
  • Information on how all skills are trained

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but...

Skills page, tactics is now called dodge, and based off agility.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

I corrected a few spell/grammar/phrasing mistakes in the beginner's guide, and bolded the "topics". I'm thinking I might do that in the others too, if I find myself without much to do. There's a distinct possibility I'll add some advice of my own - I just have to phrase it properly.

I'm willing to contribute liberal puns and general liberalization of pages. PM me any page you think is not liberal enough.

Just anonymously created the Commercial District page, and moved things there.  Also updated stuff for the new used car place, and removed the black market from outskirts.

Are you sure? I don't see it in the 'Locations' section.

Anybody else got the error when trying to load the page? It seems I can't even conect to it, it just immediately shows the Error page in Firefox.

I recall a brief discussion on the armor by Jonathan.

Essentially, Bunker Gear covers all parts of the body, but gives little protection.

And Body Armor only covers the torso, but gives decent protection.

Also, Cheap Suits are valid disguises for the Gentlemen's Club.  (I'd assume Cheap Dresses would be valid when the Women's Rights issue is L+, but haven't been able to test that yet)

Also, two things I'd suggest adding to the Prison Entry:
1)To the best of my knowledge, the only loot found is the shanks (a small knife)
2)The Prison has a public area, where no disguise is needed.

Perhaps the page on Vehicles could be expanded?
I recall hearing the hirarchy of vehicles is the following:
Level one boost: Sportscar
Level two boost: Jeep
Level three boost(or maybe these are the same as the jeep, or not the same): Taxi, Police Car
All others: No boost

I think they meant backwoods as in "rural". Rednecks, Good 'ol Boys, huntin' and fishin'. That sort of thing.

Yeah. The Yet makes it fit. Without the Yet, I'd say it should be backwards.
