Computer died. I'll be essentially without internet (for the purposes of writing an update at the very, very least) till either next week, hopefully, or mid January, horribly.

Hiatus. I fucking hate the word, but there you go. Sigh.
Shit.

Limul Thak's Journal

So... nothing's happening. We're still waiting on Kogan to finish his thing... and... well... we can't go anywhere until he's finished. I guess I could practice my lightning skills...
"I would rather not."
Oh, shove it. Why the hell not?
"It hurts. A little."
Well, maybe we can work on streamlining the energy better to make it not hurt.
"I suppose if we must..."

Sometimes, having a weapon that can think and feel sucks.

Olon Irongloves

Bastard be damned. Was a good axe, but I can make do without a shiny talkative blade for the time being. I'll make sure to get Reaper back before Truebasements snaps out of it, then I might just go looking for a fight. All I see is the night now. And when the distance calls to me, to yield to battle, I may not go, for my saga yet needs a touch upon with the mates that I have assigned myself. Hearty lads they are, my prowess will likely be required in the months to come, but I require a battle. Nay. Not just a battle. I require a campaign. I need foes to slay. Men of valor be with me, and yet. I trust in Barbarossa's judgement. He is a good captain, yet not my Captain. I go where I have want, but this Band of Brothers has not yet reached their destination.

And I aim to record. With Blood. With Steel. With Vengeance. With Battle. With Song.

With Reaper.

I like the stark contrast between the journals.

There is the possibility of a crapload of a wait guys, don't stick around.

Obviously I'm not going to abandon this. But if it's not back by friday, it won't be back till at least late January.

Walter sat at the village tavern, an untouched mug of some brown fluid that'd be better to grease his gauntlet then drink. He was leaning intently over two notepads, one of his own and another, filled with brilliant philosophical theories, genius designs and shopping lists. The journal of Leonardo of Windtrees, a dwarf renowned for being possessed by Armok more then his own consciousness.
Walter scrawled furiously away, a detailed, 3D sketch slowly developing on the page. It showed a straight, double-edged long sword. It had some irregularities, such as the middle of the sword being a hollowed-out cylinder, and a complex but minute loading system nestled inside the hilt. A brass trigger squated inside the hilt guard, daring it's user to squeeze it.

Time for more inventions!

We'd better be careful about too many inventions, now... we wouldn't want a steampunk roleplay, now would we? >:(
...
Well, I'm sure Armok wouldn't, and that's good enough in my book. :-X

Good news fellows! I may be computer-ized again by Monday!

Stay tuned to either be gratified or have your hopes crushed! Either way, everyone's a winner.

Ok, so I'm still back on page 14 and loving it. Yes, months behind current events. However, I'll soon catch up!

Just wanted to say that if you don't have a dwarf yourself, Jackrabbit, you need to create someone named Jack the Hammer. I haven't seen a single hammerdwarf yet by page 14? No telling what's to come but hey you should be in your own story.

I think Jack should be shipped in inside a glass terrarium. And he should carry a lantern at night. And he should be good at everything. And he should be excited at all times. Despite his affiliation with hammers, he should love chopping down trees. And no one should know him very well.

and.... well, I could go on with these puns for a while. Props to anyone who figures them all out (use a Spoiler to hide your answers so others don't accidentally cheat). Anyway, Jack the Hammer. There you go. He doesn't even need to be in the main story, just a fun side character to star in your short stories.

Thanks, I'll take it under consideration!

Still only page 14? You're going to have fuuuuuun. Things get ridiculous when more people got interested in this. It could be that the story's getting unwieldy but we're moving towards a finale.
