Turn 1
Creatures
Yrb – Colonize C-15 and E-12
The Yrb exodus was a sight that few were privileged to see, great masses of the land appeared to be shifting and moving, giant waves of moss and mould roiled around the northern forests. Two separate waves rolled southwest and northeast. To the northeast the Yrb found the land plentiful and soon the Yrb population was equal to the ancestral home of the Yrb, Yrblanea the land was a paradise. However to the southwest the Yrb’s aversion was ineffectual at preventing the native predators from feeding upon and almost exterminating the Yrb. Rip, claw, bite, and tear the monsters killed all under the cover of darkness. These are memories of the Yrb of these monstrous beings. The survivors of the holocaust retreated back to Yrblanea to warn others of these monsters of the night, and to prepare for the assault to come.
Perfect success at colonizing C-15 (88 +2[omnivore] ) failure at colonizing E-12 (12 + 7[Tough Hide Rank 5]) sorry you got a bad roll plus you hit one of my hidden surprises on the map. You might want to do something about those new predators; your aversion technique doesn’t work on them and they liked the taste of the Yrb.
Amo – Learn how to climb trees and ambush prey, and colonize P3
The Amo way of life had changed, the great blob had described a new way to eat and expand. One must first stay perfectly still and wait for prey to come to you, this was a readical new idea for the Amo, they only ate the remains of animals or other Amo before, thus they were not of a great size. However the new technique that the great blob had described allowed them to capture larger prey and expand faster than ever before. They would wait surrounded by bushes and when the prey came within their range it would be engulfed and assimilated into the Amo. (New ability ‘Ambush’)
When the time came for the Yrb to explore new land only the foolhardy and reckless ventured far from the home den. Those who did return emanated a foul disposition until they were assimilated, and then the foulness of the experience was only dulled.
Moderate success at new Dietry ability, the Amo do not climb trees and ambush prey, they wait in hiding and capture it. (60 + 2[Vibration Sense Rank 2]) Fail at colonizing P3; – 15 to colonization attempt within the next turn (13)
Volo – Colonize L-12 and K-11
The Volo plains had become crowded one could no longer run around the plains and see only a few other Volo. The shaman of the largest pack decreed that the smaller packs must go and find land elsewhere as the concentration of life was disturbing the natural flow of the elements. To the south and south west they migrated. Those in the south discovered a place much like the old, and the packs again grew. However those Volo that were being led by a shaman who was not fully in contact with the wind were guided in the wrong direction. They entered a forest full of climbers. Creatures that could climb were greatly advantaged in a forest to those who couldn’t and the volo could not. The food that they did find was quickly taken from them by the quicker and more agile climbers, their barks were mangled and lost within the maze of trees. Eventually the shaman who was not as ‘in touch’ as others would like him to be was found lying around a berry bush with foam covering his face. The Volo returned to the plains.
Success at L-12, (83 + 1[Extended Eyesight Rank 1])
Failure at K-11 (12 + 1[Extended Eyesight Rank 1])
Vine Runners – Colonize F-12 and E-13
The Vine Runners colonization attempt of the southlands went well. They had established another pack of almost equal size, and another that was greater. The native predators that were initially there left in chase of something, the Vine Runners did not know nor did they care to find out.
Success at colonizing south (83 + 4[Claws Rank 3] + 4[Carnivore]) and <!!!AWESOME!!!> (100+ 4[Claws Rank 3] + 4[Carnivore]) at southeast.
Ant People – Colonize G-5 and D-6
The ant queen had dictated that the colonies expand into new territory so as to expand her knowledge and consciousness. The queen sent one contingent south and another northeast. Almost immediately contact with Contingent One, who went south, was lost, no explanation was at hand and the queen had other business to attend to so she disregarded it. The northeastern colony, Contingent 2, had established a foothold but had lost many in the journey so the colony could barely sustain itself let alone expand.
Fail at colonizing G-5 (4 + 2 [Extended Eyesight Rank 2] + 1[Vibration Sense Rank 1]) Just Succeed at colonizing D-6 (40 + 2 [Extended Eyesight Rank 2] + 1[Vibration Sense Rank 1])
Zaniah – Colonize J-8 and I-9
Existing on an island with no predators or competing creatures the Zaniah population expanded to encompass the entire island.
Succeed at colonizing J-8 (79 + 4[Land Bound Rank 1] + 1[Vibration Sense Rank 1]) and I-9 (63 + 4[Land Bound Rank 1] + 1[Vibration Sense Rank 1])
Deities
Keelat – Influence the Earth to Rise up and form a mountain.
The ground quivered and trembled before Keelat the flighty, manipulator and master of air bending the earth to her will was too great a task for her she had dominion over wind not earth. Distraught that she had failed to create the mountain she sought for her chosen believers so that they could delve deep into the earth and receive the riches her chosen rightly deserve. With a sudden realization she had not the power to control another domain that was not hers without greater power. (You need believers to do stuff like that dontcha know)
Failure to create a mountain (38)
RAMDEARDTTCATFOTRCBUPMWVAALR – Set up and embassy in Yrblanea in an attempt to gain followers.
No matter how you try to communicate with the Yrb they do not seem to understand you nor you them. Each method that you try ends with the same result, resounding silence.
Failure to communicate with the Yrb as they have no language or way of communicating effectively. (13)
Oulatahe – Sleep
Oulatahe the primal beast slumbers in his den below the earth, while sleeping the spirits of the beasts gather around and patiently await his awakening.
+25 to next turn as you didn’t get to make one this turn.
