we need ARMY cards, that's what.
How I think army cards should work, is be the units that actually can attack and defend.
Their power should be determined by their leader's power.
We're actually planning on having the emperors fight each other, because that'll make it about a million times more awesome than anything that happened during the actual Roman Empire. I think that we should have little strategic tip bubbles and stuff in the rulebook that have centaurions in them.
Also, at some point, I'll draw Caracalla. We can have a special cloak item that boosts speed by 1 for everybody else, but it boosts it by 4 for him, or something.
Good job with the game board, CJ.
Edit, and an excuse to use one of those dividers;
Good job with the Lorica Hamata. Was it better than the Squamata one? If it was worse, we might need to change it to +1 to accommodate the Squamata being better.
The point about
MAXIMINUS THHHHRRRRRAAAAXXX (sounds so awesome) potentially having 13 Strength is valid, but yes, I do want him to have 13 with a Gladius. In light of that, I might decrease his other stats to make him more one dimensional. What do you guys think?
Also, Rooster PMed me offering to help develop the card game, as he knows a lot about card games. I can't offer you a position as Head Developer or the privilege to invite more people to work on the game, Rooster, because
1. We're just all making stuff equally, pretty much. If you design stuff, it'll probably be in the finished game no matter what. You'd be the head rules guy by making most of the rules. So it would sort of be pointless.
2. Everyone can already invite people to work on the game. All you need to do is walk in and start doing stuff. So it would also be sort of pointless.
Welcome to the thread!
I thought this was a thread like the fan art one.
My God inaluct, this menaces with spikes of awesome.
Thanks.
