Looks like the skills are done relativly fast. I would asume at max 5 days work on them and theyr are ready for use.

After that i think Healthcare can be done within a week.

Very good work Toady. I wouldnt have exspected that you are this fast.

Default attribute settings for races + massive new slew of attributes?... FFFYES.

Looks like the skills are done relativly fast. I would asume at max 5 days work on them and theyr are ready for use.

After that i think Healthcare can be done within a week.

Very good work Toady. O wouldnt have exspected that you are this fast.

I concur. We'll have to see how some of the other items go, though, like Sites and Entity Positions.

I concur. We'll have to see how some of the other items go, though, like Sites and Entity Positions.

Sites looks straightforward.  It's Squads you should probably be worried about -- there are a lot of implied UI elements and sweeping goals.

Not really. The current combat AI is "swing randomly", so if Toady wanted to keep that, nothing would change. He might have to update it, but that's a really fast job. Pick random body part, roll for a hit. Pick random number between whatever, add or subtract due to strength and skill, that's how hard you hit. The bodypart system should handle what to do with the hit of ___ type with ____ force at _____ limb.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

No date.  May would be an optimistic estimate.

And in the main post under creature raws, what is Toady going to do with the standard creatures?

Updating them to the new creature raw format and giving them fancier, more detailed bodies.

Maybe, but the list is still huge.

Hmmm......May. Only 2 Months.  ;D

 I doubt that the next version will be released in may to be honest. Probably we must wait 'til summer.. :-\

A request for Toady: With the new wound system and whatnot going in place, would it be possible for you to fix the bug where caravans bring dead animals in cages to freezing areas? I've even seen polar bears show up dead, and that just doesn't seem right.
