Is there a tag that determines which attack of a weapon will be used most? Like say, my sword slashes more, but it'll stab once in a while. Also, if a menu for combat (ala the wrestling menu) gets implemented, will we ever be able to choose to stab with my *adamantine side-sword* or to slash with it?
toady had said a while ago that he wants the dwarves to use the attacks intelligently, so at some point in the future i bet it will calculate a most damaging attack and make that the primary attack, or maybe have either a tag or percentage thing in the raws for the attacks.  it would be quite silly to have one primarily use the spike of a goedendag instead of the blunt sides, though i doubt such a change is high on toady's list.

You should limit the frequency at which you do that. Such things can Hertz.

yes, yes. We've all seen how funny it is to translate the dev log into japanese and back, but it's not really anything with substance.

I like the "defend the fortress" command. I hate assigning my squads to patrol wherever trouble is.

It's just one screen that's been finalized, the replacement for the current X menu.  The main military screen is much more complex, and the healthcare screen might not be finalized either.
