This just in: Giant piranha drop around four or five item crates upon death. And this was done with the use of a gun, so I could see it had damage graphics in the form of it's flesh disappearing to reveal its skeleton.

Suddenly the Piranha has become my worst enemy, and I avoid the water at the bottom of the jungle at all costs.

I have made it a rule for myself that I will only use things in the level editor after killing it, so tests can be done.

Unlike normal fish, the big guy doesn't die when out of the water, and only the head can be targeted.

I've managed to kill the giant piranha a good couple of times, but all of them was with the shotgun. It only takes two shots and he's down.

I like how if your swimming upwards really fast, you JUMP out of the water. That's helped me trick the piranha AI a couple times.

Bot to mention the fact that fish AI doesn't seem to mind you being only a little bit in the water.

The giant Piranha sits alone as the hardest of the mini-bosses. Having boatloads of hp, relatively uninhibited movement, and aggressive AI, it blows the others out of the water*.

It's sort of balanced out by having the most random reward though, but still, four crates is pretty damn valuable.

I submit the giant yeti as being the easiest of the mini-bosses. It is slow, has retardedly simple AI, and has an attack that will kill itself half of the time. If you have any sort of weapon, a bomb, or are just provoke it long enough, your bound to win. Provided, all you get for your effort is a random amount of rope and a 50% chance of getting spike shoes.

Giant Alien is the best though, and for obvious reasons.

You just need 3-4 bombs to properly defeat the giant alien. That is assuming are are UFO's above it's case.

I can do it in two, one to destroy the roof and the forcefield at once, and one to kill it. Provding that architecture allows it of course. If your a good thrower, you can kill the Alien AND get it's loot with only 2 bombs.

Ties with the Mummy for best loot, i'd say.

True: I killed my very first mummy with a very well-thrown bomb.

That is the only way I kill mummies. Never really use guns, as I don't buy them and I never seem to get them from crates.

I got a shotgun from a crate once, I was in awe at how lucky I was.

Ya know what I did with it? My inner retard kicked in and convinced me to shoot the kissing booth lady, and I was promptly killed in return by the shopkeeper.

A shame there are no shops in the fourth area. We would totally deathstaff the shopkeepers.

That's another thing I think needs tweaking, the ridiculous price of the kissing booth. 20,000 bucks for a kiss? and what, it's like 30,000 in the third area.

You can buy her, for 100,000$, but I don't know why that'd even be considered good idea at all. You could argue it's just a joke (at how lonely the shopkeepers are), but it's not a very good joke.

the way i'd put it, I'd have it start at 5,000, and the price escalates by 5,000 for every use.

so it'd work out like this

1st kiss: 5,000
2nd kiss: 10,000
3rd kiss: 15,000
4th kiss: 20,000

and so on and so forth.

I have come by a shop in the fourth area and accidentally deathstaffed the shopkeeper.

As it automatically seeks and destroys shopkeepers as well.

I suppose if you had 100,000, wanted a second extra life, and didn't want to piss of the shopkeeper?  (stretching, I know)

Most likely in case you're aiming for a certain kind of highscore.
