Yeah, many of the parts that are oddly written are better in the japanese version, including the infamous ´´adult´´ scenes.

I wouldn't go as far as to call him a genius. He does kinda have a problem with throwing in things he thinks is cool and contradicting himself or changing his mind on important facets of the setting on a whim.

It is a really neat setting though.

That's exactly along the lines of what I said; a purely conceptual element. The concept of Fate/stay Night is better than the actuality of what it is, which leads into

...Which is the other part of it. Pacing, along with proper sentence arrangement and flow, are essential for being a good technical writer. Failure to do so is not a subjective taste, but an inadequacy of writing ability that usually comes from either a lack of understanding of how to structure a story, or a lack of experience in executing one.

I'm not saying anything about whether the plot and world of Fate/stay is good or bad, I'm simply stating that it is some degrees of painful to read it due to how sloppy and longwinded the dialogue and exposition are. It is perfectly fine to say that you like it in spite of this, and I am not condemning fans of the series (Unlike Mahouka, which people SHOULD feel bad for liking.)

...and that's all there was translated as of several months ago, which was the last time I read the manga. There's a lot to cover, even before they start adding bits and pieces of filler.

The anime covered just under 8 volumes and there are around ~15 volumes worth of manga out at the moment.  The anime was also kindof playing for time at some points so it could possibly do with a bit more next time.

So, apparently 2015 we're gonna see the second series from Trigger (the people behind Kill la Kill) and said series is apparently bout a dude who kills up all the ninja in the world, because ninja's accidentally his family.

Anyone else have news on this?

Found Toumei na Sekai, Transparent World in english. Was a charming one shot manga. Shy high school girl MC has a crush on high school guy, guy dies from heart issues, comes back as a ghost that only his best friend and MC girl can see. Character development ensues.

Nice quick and simple read. I liked it. If anyone's interested, googling the title should bring up stuff.
