That aside, of the so-called "Big Three" of shonen, One Piece is the only one that's actually pretty good throughout.

No offense taken and I'd rather be "I don't know what you mean" then "DANG IT Neonivek, stop hating on one piece for being good".

I started watching Samurai Flamenco and I'm up to Episode 7. This is so stupid. I love it.

It's the biggest troll-show of all time. But that's what is great about it. Non-episodic, but you NEVER know where that show will be in 3-4 episodes time.

I don't get this. The only reason I watch anime is because of the silliness. If every anime was Evangelion or Elven Lied I think I would have dropped the genre.

But C'bebop and Champloo (especially for those who know Japanese history) get really, really dramatic in parts and especially at the ends of their respective seasons.

You can't call Elfen Lied "not silly" as a comparison, really.


Edit: I'd call anime a genre. Only one with a Lot of sub-genres.
Just as western animation is a genre that includes both family guy and adventure time, and Avatar (both, technically).

What I meant was that The Walking Dead has never made me laugh. Neither did Eva or Elfen. The reason I'd have left is because if I wanted straight drama I could go elsewhere (Breaking Bad was airing at the time IIRC).

Ugh, I'm too tired to express what I'm trying to say. I'll try and find 1000 words to help.

Eh, the anime I watch depends on the mood I'm in. I like to keep updated with One Piece because, as stated before, it is my all time favorite show. I usually stick with comedy, but every now and again I go after anime that are great psychological thrillers, like Another.

I really hope that attitude didn't start because of the dub name for Rurouni Kenshin. Because that was so dumb.
