I can't get a hold of the good translation of Gundam Sentinel. It's only really available from this site that requires a payed subscription to view, and all the torrents for it seem to be dead.

Goddamn Sky Island. Maybe it was better in the manga or something, but I fucking loathed that long, stupid, and pointless arc.

Pretty sure Sky Island in the manga had this one page that made up for any other shortcomings it may have had.

Or... maybe not. It might have been earlier in the series. It's been, like. Multiple years since I've read any 1P. You'd know it by the buggeroff huge ship falling from the sky, in any case. Pretty sure it was upside down, and had an inspirational quote.

That vaguely matches my recollection; I never watched the anime, and it's been years since I last read any of it. 'sides, relatively speaking it is more-or-less consistently okay when you consider what you're comparing it to. A couple bad arcs can't equate to that. In either case, it's mainstream shonen that doesn't entirely ignore every potentially interesting aspect of the setting, so I'm already inclined to not hate it overmuch.

I like Hetalia for the most part... but that movie was probably the most cash in I ever seen (50% of it was a clip show).

Hmm hmm, that was neato. They're very good at summarising a good deal of talking while keeping it flowing nicely.

I think one of the guys in the prison looked like a character from part 4. The one with the guilt based lock stand? He's got hair in two ridges with a bald patch in the centre of his head.

I thought the new season would be dissapointing, considering how great the last season was. But the first anime this season I watched, Akuma no Riddle, has great art direction, character design and an interesting plot.

And Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is a good looking RomCom, heavy on the Com side, with great side characters and a good main girl.
Aww, this is going to be a good season.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is on, ergo, this is a good season.

I've decided to finally give I/O a serious go.  There's a lot of stuff to like - I find the core concept and the way they're exploring it pretty interesting, and most of the stuff that happens in Babylon is really interesting.  That said because it's a VN there are a lot of needlessly long scenes and characters that seem meaningless.

Also the artstyle is really odd and every now and again I notice

I grabbed the manga series cause i liked it well enough and its highly rated compared with the LN.
