What the fuck is wrong with Kyubey? What is wrong with...all of it?

For Kyubey... think of it as a normal human, minus the capability of processing any concept relating to human emotion, sensitivity and empathy.

It also has a goal, one which allows it to save many more lives thanks to the deaths and suffering of the very very very few, in comparison.  The magical girl fighting the witch thing... well actually them turning into witches is the most efficient way to gather the 'energy' needed to save everyone else.

So yea, what are a few individuals or earth for that matter... if much more can be saved with their death and suffering?

Hee hee.  I started watching Record of Lodoss Wars after getting sick of "Fate Stay Night"(god that was awful).  Its hilarious how blatantly D&D it is so far.

Not surprising since they actually were basically the creator's D&D 1st edition game sessions given form.

I guess more often than not, interesting plot just ain't enough for most viewers (Don't worry Baccano! I'll always like you). Sometimes some fan service/cute things/etc. are needed to make 'em at least turn & take a look as they say. Some of their titles don't help either...like Bodacious Space Pirates or I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs (can't blame people if they thought they were porn).

Just found out that they actually made a live action movie of Negative Happy Chain Saw Edge. My experiences with those unfortunately were...well...

Visual novel of...*can't recall name but has to do with a goddess and a devil girl vying for love from a normal guy with heaven and hell connected, and in the anime he goes for the green haired girl who's a half.*

Or so it claims. Personally I think that there's no way the depression of little girls is the most efficient energy source in the universe. Also note that the thing they're fighting is entropy. The Incubators have got, what, at least a good few billion years to figure out a solution, but instead they decide to turn a bunch of human girls into liches and hope that does the trick?

Honestly, I think the whole "teenage girls are an energy source" thing is supposed to be serious within the universe but also tongue-in-cheek. Sort of parodying how in most magical girl animes, teenage girls seem to be chosen as the best guardians of humanity or whatnot for some baffling reason.

Also Coobie is awesome. Don't diss it.

Chapter 50 was really a horrible break for our hero Kaiman.  I'm on chapter 60 now and I haven't read it yet but the ominous messages beforehand and "Goodbye Kaiman" as the title are not good signs.

Asu the Devil or Kawajiri is a pretty cool guy too.  Although the last I saw of him presently was getting de-devilfied by Chidaruma or whatever.  Poor devils, well Asu especially.

Which blew the socks off of every Extra arc (Lacrosse too of course).

CHUCK SAUBER yeah I had to avatar this.

They even got Jack Bauer's Japanese dub VA for him.  Which if you don't know is a pretty cool guy who has done Rudolf Ushiromiya and Emiya Kiritsugu among others (Souda Emonzaemon).

....What was interesting to note is that at the end of the Airsoft arc we get our first real "conspiracy" song (you hear it a lot in MLA) and Takeru starts going over in his head what all these suspicions are.



Most notably the "Enigma" that Sauber and supposedly Walken are after that the Mitsurugi family owns.  My feeling is that this "Enigma" is Takeru himself due to coming back from MLA and screwing everything up.

Fullmetal Alchemist had realistic uniforms for women (they were exactly the same as the men's). With the exception of Ed's little ahoge the hairstyles were pretty realistic as well.
