There are two TTGL movies.  One does the first arc the other does the second arc.  There are a few changes, but otherwise it's the same.
Yeah, that's about it. If you don't want to waste time on the identical stuff, here's what's new:

Gurren hen: The prologue and everything from the point on where Simon fights Cytomander. Everything in between is either the same or extremely shortened.
Lagann hen: The fight against the moon, and the final battle. Won't say more 'cause of spoilers *g*

There really isn't any way of making another season of the current characters without it sucking. And different characters would be great. The heroes already had their journey shown, their path shown to their end. What would be shown, the skipped bits like the timeskip? A huge part of the show is seeing the characters grow to new heights of badassness before thought impossible. You can't really do that between sessions of doing that, you have a continuity to keep. There really isn't much to show after the series ends, the Anti-Spirals were the largest threat to the universe. Everything else would be crushed at the current levels of spiral-mastery.

A possibility would be showing Lordgenome as he ascends to power, but we already know how that turns out so whatever with that idea. A new universe with a new cast is in order.

Buck up friendo, we're all on the level here.
I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Ok here is a discussion topic... or rather just name one anime.

Usually Animes start of slow and then start to speed up usually signifying an increase in quality.

However sometimes it works in reverse. The increase in action actually started the show on its downward spiral.

Name one anime where exactly that happened!

My offer: Witchhunter Robin.

Somewhere when she started to fight the super assasines who weren't killed very easily was exactly where the show started falling appart.

Futakoi Alternative. It started with an over the top and hilariously weird 1st episode, then it kinda' lost a lot of it's energy as it went on (some where still fine though), that is until the last few episodes where it get's up roaring once again through gunfire, explosions and squids.

Far from perfect sure and some may not stick around 'till the end, but personally...I liked it, and will probably rewatch it on slow/free days.

Why do the anime I don't like to watch always have the catchiest theme songs? Why?

Such as? What are these animes with awsome themes?

On my Anime watching front... I am trying to finish this anime off but I can't believe it... It has a filler episode SO boring, I have yet to be able to finish it. Yet I don't skip it because something important may happen.
