I highly recommend Bakemonogatari. has some very interesting characters, plot and some witty dialogue and funny interactions between them. Let me rephrase that, there's actually a lot of talk and banter between characters but it's well pretty written and you'll hardly notice. Its visual presentation's also certainly different & can be rather odd & may be an acquired taste, but do give it a try.
