Better than skeleton face paint guy though, I don't know if he's suppose to be looked on as a bad guy or good.  At first I was like bad guy, but he's fighting on the good side for some reason.

I'm not sure if it's intended whether you're supposed to like him or not, but disappointment will ensue either way.

and for the skeleton face guy, I've very sure you're talking about Mayuri. He's one of the only characters that's consistently cool throughout the show, although he doesn't make as many appearances as I'd like.

Anyway, to describe Mayuri, I'll go back to the DnD system that was being (ab)used earlier and say that he's True Neutral. He doesn't care whats good or evil, but he'll fight on whichever side best facilitates his goals, needs, and desires.

It is possible that the geass deactivated because Euphy was weak and dieing, so it turned itself off because she didn't have the strength to kill anyone. Course this is just a guess.

CG is still one of my favorite animes. And Ep.21 of R2 will always be my favorite.
