Edit:Oh, and it had about two or three pages worth of engravings on it.

Well, I do have an artifact Obsidian Table.
Named The Sun of Disemboweling.
I must say, it's my favorite so far, but would have been better if it had been an altar.

Nope. I just forbade everything that wasn't adamantine, and he had a magma forge mood.

The idea of a bone bed is morbid in itself, but being reminded about the demise of one of the first 7 is a sure way to get nightmare.    I'm also impressed that the bone carver could create a bed out of two turtle bones.
(Yes, I made a mistake when digging out my two level cistern.  )

Nope. I just forbade everything that wasn't adamantine, and he had a magma forge mood.

Moody dwarves happily grab any item they want to use and can reach, no matter if it's 'F'orbidden or not.

Er, sorry, it's been my experience that forbidden items won't be used by moody dwarves.  That's why we can do ridiculous things like letting a dwarf collect all but one of the items they need, then forbidding all the items at the workshop so they will collect even more, then unforbidding at the right time so they'll use way more items than they normally would.

It's just a nicely worked ring. Traders don't bring artifacts, your dwarves make'em, and when they will make one, you will know about it.
