The roc is named "The Feral Competition" and it hunts in the geographic area called "the spine of man". How often do you pray to the RNG?

I recently had a dwarf make a granite grate. It's not worth much, and it's not very fancy, but it does have two things going for it.

1. There's an engraving of an elf killing a dwarf.
2. It's called "The Windy Violator".

I'll leave the rest to your imagination. :P

I just got "Agelucky", a horse bone pick. I'm just so fascinated by the notion of mining with a decorated spike of bone  :o

If anyone can do it, it's dwarves. :D

I got a donkey bone cabinet the other day, menaces with spikes of horse bone and iron.  It will make a noble very happy one day.

I got a coffin with the picture of an elf devouring a dwarf! Then there is also a picture of a minotaur killing a dwarf... The elf devourer is supposedly related to an event, so what does that mean, that elves are dwarves eaters?

Elves eat the corpses of enemies fallen in battle.

This is with a .25 fortress. I only included descriptions for the fun ones.  These were created without manipulating what my mooded dwarves had access to.

I just got a sterling silver shield. That should be good for bashing. I gave it to Asmel, our resident fortress champion, to go along with his artifact gold shortsword.

Fun fact, artifact iron spears can't touch Bronze Colossuses and steel axes mostly dent them but artifact gold shortswords will cut them in half. Even the pommel strikes fractured it.

I always enjoyed that one.
It is as though it is a statement to our wealth, and it has a fitting name.
also once I got a silver war hammer.
I hope you gave that one to your first miner.

Think this is my favorite, Simple, elegant, yet brutally effective.
(Old picture, it got a lot more use, and the wielder got even more kills). I dont remember the killtotal the end.

As of now it is the iron short sword menacing with spikes of iron and granite and bearing some unrelevant battle event image in granite. Simple and practical.
Logged
There is a finely-engraved image of Ascimator on the wall. Ascimator is slapping himself in the face. The artwork relates to the loss of the only anvil in Perplextombs in the late winter of 6.
