Don't worrrrry about it.

Yes.

After all, since I can't actually kill anybody, it's best if people remove themselves from the game by winning, so I can be the last one left.

Yeah, actually, it does.

Don't worry, if you haven't been lying, we should both win here.

End of Day 5

Two guests set out from the town by different roads. One heads west, into the suburbs of the nearest city, in search of greater political victories. The other walks north, towards the mountains, at last ready to face the Final Wave.

At long last, the saloon is deserted. Dust settles on the empty glasses, political leaflets and overturned chairs. The desert wind tugs at the rope that hangs loosely from the chandelier, and flies buzz ceaselessly in the kitchen.

And then the town is silent once more.

Yes has received the majority of votes.

Maximum Spin has won and left the game.

His alignment was Yes.

His role was [Campaigning] Politician.

FallacyofUrist has won and left the game.

Their alignment was Boosted Survivor.

Their role was [Yes-Voting] [Transformed] [Campaigning] [Vampire] Knight.

Imp has won and left the game.

CrystallizedMire has lost and left the game.

Her alignment was Serial Killer without the "killer".

Her role was Undead Hunter.

No players remain, so the game is over.

Maximum Spin has won and left the game.

His alignment was Yes.

His role was [Campaigning] Politician.

Whew.

Hey, Max for president!  I didn't make it to the actual election, but this is a candidate I supported!

FallacyofUrist has won and left the game.

Their alignment was Boosted Survivor.

Their role was [Yes-Voting] [Transformed] [Campaigning] [Vampire] Knight.

ZOMG you terrifying 'unknown'.

SO WHAT'S THAT? - IT'S THE UNKNOWN!
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT'S THAT? - IT'S THE UNKNOWN!
IT'S REACHING OUT ABOUT TO GRAB! - IT'S THE UNKNOWN!
A SURVIVOR'S FORM AND BOOSTED BACK, MAKE ALL THE OTHERS SCREAM - (NOOOOOO)

Thanks for allowing me to win too!

I bet it was not possible to save CM by the time we had a plan.  I don't mind at all you working things out silently to win everyone still possible to win.

I suspect it was probably doable if Fallacy had been vampirized last, but it doesn't matter now. I did figure that you, Imp, would probably win as soon as I was out, if Fallacy really did collect those modifiers (as turned out to be the case).

My role, btw:
Alignment: Yes
    - You win when the "Yes" option receives the majority of votes at the end of a day phase
    - You lose when the "Yes" option is not on the vote table at the start of the day

Role:[Campaigning] Politician
Targeted Ads: your target starts the next day voting for Yes and cannot change or remove their vote at any point in the day
Offer Referendum Candy: [day] give up to 2 players Referendum Candy

Mechanical Information:

Quote
[Campaigning] While you are alive, the option "Yes" appears on the vote table until it receives the majority of votes at the end of a day

Quote
[Yes-Voting] When Yes is chosen at the end of the day, you gain an extra vote

Quote
Referendum Candy - you gain the [Yes-Voting] role modifier

Love to see what Fallacy and Crymea really had too.

Boosted Survivors is a 0.99$ Steam game about upgrading your character in arbitrary ways as you fight waves of enemies. Hence, collecting modifiers.

My win condition was mostly accurate...

But A, I only needed 3 modifiers, and B, I also had to be the last player alive.

(I lied because the true win condition sounds too Serial Killer-y.)

Soooo... you never needed [Vampire] and CM probably could've won too. :P

Possibly!

Of course, if I told the truth and got executed for being suspicious, I would've lost.

Yeah.

I was scared that when you voted do nothing, you were maybe gonna literally 'do nothing' and not give the second candy to FoU.  But that's on FoU to chase, not me once dead.

Then, when you were sus of FoU being in play D5, I thought either you legit missed about giving candy D4, OR that FoU was pulling a fast one.

I too thought either... well.

I saw 3 ways this could go.

FoU is a Vamp, and will be there N5, and I win for that reason.

FoU isn't a Vamp, AND didn't even eat my monster candy, and I'm gonna lose and can't be saved at this point.

FoU somehow gained your wincon option with mirror stance or something, and would win when yes is voted; there'll never be a time when there's only monster status players only in play, I've lost and this is maybe a choice or maybe a necessity FoU has.

I was pretty antsy!  FoU was very 'player of mafia' in how FoU handled this and I have no room to complain, plus FoU carried me to win too.  I have nothing to complain about, that anxiety and surprise is supposed to be part of any good maf game, right?  Yay to FoU for saving this game from losing that :D

Plus, the terrifying signature FoU has....  this is exactly the sort of game where FoU's role-design and role-request brilliance might shine.

I was very alert to the UKNOWN this end-game, well very well done FoU!

But you, Max.  You played square and fair by my standards.  You had either no way to save me and need to save yourself, or I was fine too, and you didn't set me up in any way :)

To Imp
At the end of the game someone had to be left behind. Would have used this song if it were me~

As a question to the living, what were your opinions of me on Day 1?
