2) A way to locomote on land.

1) Improve muscles and tendons in the fins so they are strong and flexible, but not hyper flexible.
2) Improve the sense of smell to find preys in the thick kelp forests.
Lactating Starwing
SS males go into hyperphagia before mating season to build up fat reserves.
4) Males go into hibernation in a protected location (like a thicket of kelp or under a rocky outcrop) when they incubate, reducing their metabolism to a minimum except for lactation and incubation.

3: Nosy Stumper also begin to invest in a more efficient respiratory system to follow their preferred prey out of the water.
SS: Nosy Stumper grow longer legs to move faster on land, both to easier catch their prey, and to not have to stay on land as long.
