-snip-
I like that you've put out a case, but one thing immediately strikes me:
Quote
Revival makes sense as an SK defensive measure.
This doesn't make sense to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's really, really unusual for anti-town roles, even SKs, to be given abilities that outright cancel a lynch on them, which an unconditional revive is.
In Fallacy's defense, I rolled SK last game, and I had the exact same defense mechanism.
My role is actually NOT random: It combines the last two roles that I got, with a twist.
But hey, I submitted Awesome Pirate as my role, so I signed up for this.

Keep going Fallacy. It's not like I'm gonna die to the lynch or anything.

Oh, OK. That still strikes me as unlikely to be a real thing in this game, but I totally buy that Fallacy believed it now. Except that they immediately backed down when challenged instead of bringing that up. Meh.

side note: I interrogated FoU in the basement about something I thought was a contradiction in their claim but was really just an incredibly stupid error on my end

I'm willing to consider Crystalizedmire as today's lynch, to see where this discussion goes.

It's not backing down to consider other possibilities, mate

The thing that most annoys me about Elephant's case on me isn't that he thinks I'm scum, that part is fair, I am a shifty character, but that he thinks I'm competent scum, and somehow every part of my actions is some intentional manipulation that I am doing on purpose

He thinks, that I stop to fully consider all my actions, that I am some rational being instead of an engine of chaos

I don't mind that he's voting me, but please, can he get some better reasoning

You're trying to trick me into defending myself, aren't you?

Okay, bet. I'll do that Day 4 if I'm still alive then.

Hey now, that's MY line.

So, do you think it is more likely there exists a Serial Killer, Third Mafia buddy of Max & Web, or Secondary Scum Team? Why?

Town can be stupid. Let's not focus on character flaws, ok?

What? This post is you defending yourself:

You just did it in vague terms.

Hey now, that's MY line.

So, do you think it is more likely there exists a Serial Killer, Third Mafia buddy of Max & Web, or Secondary Scum Team? Why?

Third mafia buddy, followed by secondary scum team, followed by SK.

It's just that I had no luck at all finding a third buddy when I was thinking about that, and frankly speaking I lost a lot of my motivation to engage with the game during that time period.

So I'm going to detox, so to speak, by looking for an SK first, then a secondary scum team, then after that, a third mafia player.

Yes, I know it'd be more rational to look for the third mafia player first.

I'm out of juice. I'm doing things this way.

You're trying to trick me into defending myself, aren't you?

What? This post is you defending yourself:

Disagree. That post was me expressing my frustration.

That is actually fairly rational, as you are proceeding to search for scum unbiased from a connection due to associations.
Which makes sense, since a Third Scumbuddy would have probably avoided incriminating themselves by associating with Max & Web, so associations might fail.

Find scum. You still get the same number of town credits if they flip scum, even if they're different scum than you thought.

This is the second time you've said something like this.

We all submitted roles.

As far as I know, nobody's role is 'random'.

Please, I know you already refused to discuss more, but you brought it up again.

What do you mean, why are you even thinking in the direction of 'random roles' at all?
