Posting from phone.

Jack's frustrated reaction feels pretty town to me. Keep in mind that pressure doesn't just come from votes, Toony.

I would prefer Max / Quarque over Max / Crystal, but I have to admit I'm feeling a little selfish, because if his claim is true I can get my vulnerability cleaned off and remove the possibility of scum getting to doublekill town, again assuming my read on Jack is accurate.

That, and Max's level of contribution has pretty heavily increased since early and mid day, so I'm feeling more lenient.

Quarque / Toony or Quarque / Crystal, final answer.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

@Quarque:
Max and Crystal is okay but it doesn't solve Jack/FoU.
I don't know that voting one of them out would help, lovers can be opposite alignments no? Anyway I'm off to bed soon.

@Web:
Okay.

@Quarque:
I don't think it's likely both are scum so voting Jack is either two dead town or one dead town one dead scum. One being scum is a fine outcome, but I don't have full confidence it is correct which makes the outcome awful.

If I wasn't in agreement to the Max helping FoU plan then I'd probably even be down for Max and FoU today. If FoU is scum I think it's unlikely that Jack is as well.

Toony's reads are unjustified.

Fall, please give a few examples, which specific reads and how are they unjustified?

1. I like his posts, I think he's scumhunting

Can you help me see some good quotes of his scummhunting?

It follows that if you're mafia and looking for a way to stay alive, lying that you can break the bond might be a good idea.

Evaluate, please.  Max said this:

No, Fallacy, I am testing to see if I believe this is a real ability you might have as a town player and would want to cure if possible, or just bullshit you made up to try to get EuchreJack off the hook.

So far, results not encouraging.

And here's where he made the offer.

How scummy does the timing and situation look to you?  Are you seeing a Max looking to stay alive right there?

How would you distinguish their play this game from their play in FBYOR?
There's a difference between clueless town and clueless scum that i find difficult to describe better than that. If you want me to dig for an example i can try.
Forgot to reply earlier, but I would appreciate that

Looks like a perfectly timed lie to me, but maybe I'm biased because of the other scumtells I'm seeing.
Not even sure it matters, when mafia can simply nightkill one of them.

One final question for the day Toony, I vaguely recall NJW saying that this cursed item lost its effect now that you no longer own it. Is that correct? NJW?

I'm having trouble seeing the threat Max is working against, unless it's the thread to Web, which doesn't appear to be your claim.

At that time, votes were FoU 4, web 3, MS 2.  When you've had sleep, maybe you'll explain the timing to me, what makes it perfect?

It matters because it helps me to know if you're babbling what you think is nonsense (why else do you back it up with 'not sure it matters') if you are running with wild speculation and intentionally imagining contradictory/very low probability scenarios that probably can't both be in play (Like, Max is scum, so he offers that as cover, but Max could get night killed so it won't matter) - or if you see something I don't see and would very much like to understand and evaluate too.

This vote count sucks. It reeks of desperation and cowardice. So, for your viewing pleasure, a Mini-Jackening.

Jackenings seem to happen, least the last one did, when a Jack needs help and doesn't seem to know how to communicate it.

FoU revealed, every post later than I would have, that FoU had a serious problem.  That allows the rest of us to evaluate and decide if we want to chase if we can help.

Do you have a problem that would be better of if you didn't have?  Are you ready to discuss this yet?
