Okay, I feel webadict is suspicious to sufficiently explaining how the emeralds work and what his idea is and why he is trading an apple. Also, didn't webadict earlier state that he has nothing to trade with.
Please quote that post.  I remember distinctly saying I had nothing to trade except the things I wanted to keep.

It gives me an Item to trade away Tomorrow in case I want to trade EuchreJack for the Blue Emerald.  This also potentially allows me to receive any Emeralds that someone might give me without losing my old Refill Ability.

Umm, sorry I got really side tracked by something that maybe doesn't matter.

Why do you want to trade the emerald you have for an apple, when you have someone who offered to trade you an emerald?  You could trade emerald for emerald directly, and get the other emerald faster/sooner?

Yep, that's what you said.  Apparently you changed your mind since about what you want to keep, and apparently you'd rather trade an emerald for an apple instead of an emerald for an emerald.  Confuses me, probably meaningless.

CM, thanks for the vote.

Anyone else bothered, confused, disturbed by this web mess?

How is this web stuff and behavior pro-town?

I explained that here:

I get powers based on the last Emerald I received.
If I receive EuchreJack's Blue Emerald, I cannot Refill Quarque.

Thank you for reading my posts.

Aha.  You want to time it.

So, Qua was talking about a 1 shot to try and save Toony.

Toony appears to be trading the problem, delaying it.

Is Qua still needing a refill tonight, oh awesome reader yourself?

I can't glean much from Max's random RVS claims/accusations/gambits (which some players go along with and others don't).  They're all too haphazard, though I'm willing to bet that most of what is presented is deception on one level or another, whether for good or evil.
If you hand them over to me, I promise to use my powers for... good.
A trade requires both parties to have an item they'd be willing to offer, and promises simply aren't gonna cut it.
Trading isn't exactly a good deal for me, since I have nothing other than the things I want, and am lacking the things I do.

Although, I am willing to trade for a specific Emerald, depending on the color, my offers aren't particularly great.  I would much rather people Give me the Emmmmmeralds, but I can always earn them the hard way.

How is this web stuff and behavior pro-town?
How is it anti-town?

Does web, as mafia, trade an emerald for an apple just to confirm Quarque's role?
Does web, as town, trade an emerald for an apple just to confirm Quarque's role?

I'm not really seeing why I should be worried. This reminds me of the Superdorf thing.

I'm more banking on the double execute/kill-less Night strategy.

What's the kill-less Night strategy again?

Quarque (I think?) is proposing to have a one-shot that can prevent the nightkill. That's also what webadict is promising to refill. If you didn't know about one, it makes sense that you didn't understand the other.

Quarque has stated having a 1-Shot Ability that disables/stops the Mafiakill, unless he has misstated that or I misremembered that.  I didn't ask for much specifics, but I believe Quarque to be Town, so I'm willing to trust him on this one.

I'm not really seeing why I should be worried. This reminds me of the Superdorf thing.

Yeah.  I'm better at picking out very town than actual scum.

But I remember web in FoU's game, where web was saying stuff like:

webadict: Who here should we have the highest expectations of? Who the lowest?
Highest expectations?  Eh, myself.  I gotta find the bad guys, naturally, or I could lose the game.  Or worse, be executed due to my own failure!

And where web played a high quality game from D1 on.

And then your game, where D1, web wanted to manipulate and game your system, knowing or not, then never played pro-town.

I don't see pro town at all.  It bugs me.  It could be Superdorf-foolish.

I would expect scum to include at least one value lynch like ToonyMan or myself (lolbias).
I'm pretty sure I'm a value lynch.  :-\

While you surely are, you're also looking day-1 reasonable pro-town.  Which means incredibly little.  But if you were not looking D1 reasonable pro-town, I'd be talking about it and likely chasing you unless someone else looked more dangerous to me.
