Attention!

I am now ruling that Favor of Aywen is now a Banned Card! This never should have been allowed in the first place and if I do not ban this card it will set an unacceptable precedent for god players who want to make their own similar (or worse) cards. Aywen may make a new 2 Star card to replace it at no cost.

Civilization players that already have that card in play may continue to use it as-is. The card is now much more valuable to collectors.

Card(s) that stick:

I agree, it's for the better.
Honestly a good thing. Favor would end up stacking to silly levels. crosses out Rage of Kuro card. :P
Oh god. I am afraid to ask what a card with that name would do, considering what that combination of words means if you know the context. I'm going to guess a sticky negative card (Edit: with a play-on-discard) that activated any time the player would've played a non-Owl god card?

I wouldn't be that mean. But it would destroy a lot of stickies whenever it came up. On the bright side, lots of wood. ;D
Let not the light destroy, lest you invoke Kuro's Wrath. I've got no reason to make that card. But it is the risk that comes with gods.

Those two were good games though.. Short and bittersweet.

The Qujens food situation had completely turned around, and now the tribes had, if anything, a complete overabundance of edibles. Some started to question if spending all their time on gathering more and more food was the best use of their time, but the priests, perhaps scared by their brush with starvation, continued to decree that the main activity should be food gathering and rationing what they had.

The Black Owl has nothing to give for those unwilling.

Props up Torkal League with a Safe Haven.

The Black Owl thanks The Sixth Pack. But in light of current events, feels the Torkal need help to rise up out of their current equilibrium. A third Haven would be nice, but you're doing well for yourselves with the hunting. I gift you draw power instead. The extra draws will likely do you well.

THE OWL DEMANDS MORE RATIONING! - Owl priest to the groans of everyone.

I am wondering if I need to let go of favor now that I can't stack up more, too much labor wasted that could go into animalism. Or maybe letting go of animalism so soon was the mistake.

Although I'm in a generally weird spot overall with my god cards, with 2 havens and no base terrain card. If I ever pull a migration should I abandon my safe havens? Most terrains haven't seemed to be that great, not sure if it's worth it. Maybe grasslands would be if I was lucky enough to draw it. From the cards we've seen it looks a bit better then the forest.

I'm in a similar spot. But i actually need to get a forest or another terrain which can produce wood. For reasons i won't disclose yet. Although, if i get a grasslands, i'll settle down there for a while until i get my population built up. And i'll do my Migration as soon as i get the card, so i might need a new Safe Haven at some point, Tric.

Oh, Supernerd, you didn't answer the question i asked in the PM regarding how Owlsong interacts with Migration. If no ruling is made, i will play according to the rules most favorable to me... In other words, in my world, activating Owlsong does allow labor-costing actions to be played together with Migration. Although, i suppose i could just activate Owlsong before playing Migration to get a 1-labor action in beforehand. The whole question in fact might be moot, as it doesn't matter. If Owlsong reduces a card's labor cost to 0, it requires no labor to play, even if Migration eats all of it.

Also i'm surprised there's no Desert, Savanna, Taiga or Swamp terrain cards. :P

Grasslands are genuinely decent for wood as well, via tornado. It's a 1 star card instead of the forests 0 star fallen tree, but gives 2 wood instead of 1.
