From what I think townEuchreJack perspective is:
1) I am a pirate captain! I inspect as a pirate alignment! (apparently that should have been red and wasn't, but I know for certain that if Euchrejack is part of a scum team, Euchrejack should know Pirates are like Mafia and similar to Serial Killers. So this helps me think townEuchreJack is innocent through true ignorance. And I'd have never come to discuss helping EuchreJack if that ignorance wasn't very believable, like real, this looks us both set up, and EuchreJack is also, later, claiming set up by mod - probably looks pretty ugly from his angle, that sucks. Most players might not like my role either - I asked for it, I wonder if townEuchreJack got anything he wanted)
2) I have... a Piratechat? I can talk to 3 people I pick D1, and they become millers that inspect as alignment Pirate like me? This is 'cool'? No it isn't! WTF. I've been scammed, this is not all my dreams come true by a long shot. (Yeah, about that. If this is townEuchreJack, I kinda want into that chat, maybe I can help some) Oh well, back to work. I gotta find me some recruits, man this sucks. I'm even town with this crummy private chat to sell. How does this even help town? (Oh, well, you gotta find the right town. They probably know to look for you. I do, and I have a reason to be interested, if I can trust it)
3) What is this, someone claiming miller Pirate? But that's me and my team! This can't be true... wait, Imp too says pirates are red? No they're not, I don't see that anywhere. Scumteam ToonyMan and Imp? That's weird but okay, I gotta deal with this mess too. Wait, Egan as well? What is this!?!?!!?
4) Finally more mod questions, more mod answers (I am guessing). Then rage against the 'machine'. Mostly focused at the entire game, maybe trying to provoke a Modkill, it cuts out. But we're past the point you asked about.
Scum-EuchreJack looks impossible to me. I explained why a lot, you wanna hear it again, ask.
Scum-ally-EuchreJack, doomed to only create the Pirates... looks possible but unlikely. I don't want anything to do with that chat if that's what it is. But I very strongly expect that requires him to not actually be part of it, yet.
Cult-EuchreJack is something I cannot rule out at all. But cults are pretty unlikely, right? Right? I sure hope so. Also, this is a weird way to go about a cult, even if the cult name is 'Ninjas' or something, and they get protected behind alignment Pirate, which EuchreJack didn't know was red. Others know, and maybe EuchreJack decided for sure they couldn't be red and didn't think to ask, for good or bad reasons. I have a really confusing role PM, I struggled to find the right questions to ask about mine, not surprised if EuchreJack's is equally confusing, especially if we're intended to have a chance to 'find each other' if we're both town. Scary if he's cult or Pirate-ally though, and those two I can't rule out.)
Yeah, but though I'm not a miller, and I'm town - my town role looks super different from the one flip we saw so far. Amazingly different. TricMagic's even makes sense, as in, you probably don't need to ask the mod questions, right? I had asked 8 questions before I even made my first post, and it wasn't until my 10th question that I understood I'd messed up (granted, I didn't wait for answers, I thought I found a way through that minefield, whoops, I didn't). I think it reasonable to believe that EuchreJack had a very confusing role given to him, if he is town, and all his actions make sense to me.
Also, I rule him out as scum. He is not, and cannot be, a alignment Pirate or an alignment Mafia. I am very, very sure of this. Do you need to ask me why?
