The Lawyer opens a briefcase. It's full of lemons, the justice fruit only lawyers may touch.

Pour some oil on the door and set it alight. Then back up and head around the bend.
You pour oil on the dooor and floor before setting it light with the lantern.

"It's just a door we can break it down!"
Join in on the door breaking party.

As the flames lick the door, Bob and Jurg argue in the fires toasty glow.

Might as well head left, and follow the wall as I have been to keep from getting lost!

With your sword's point you slowly push open the door.
Inside you find a nice chamber with sweet smelling incense in the air.
To the left is a small shrine of candles, a row of books on a self , and sat in the centre of the room is a nice low bed with a chest behind it.

You push the red silk drapes aside and find that's there two more tented off areas.
Looking in side both the blue and green bays you find that each has same set up of a low bed and a chest.

At the north wall is a row of book cases, full of large leather bound volumes.
Then to the right is a door.

Carefully open the door to north, being mindful of any more traps.

As you go on the hallway widens, to the left is door, clearly its the room that X has just entered.
You head down the main hallway, around the twisting turns as the low chanting of some strange tongues starts to echo and the smoke of sweet incense hangs low to the floor.
As you approach the door the chanting reaches a peak and then fall silent, you hear the rattle of chains an something, likey some one being dragged on a stone floor....


run on top of the table and kill the big one!
(Rolls  basic hero's D8, +2 for stunt vs D 6, 9 vs 1)
As the burning door starts to fall apart you take a step back and run at the door.
The flaming an charred wood shatters as you leap thru in the smoke and across the table.
With eye-stinging from the smoke, you rush at the largest cultist you can see, coming at him with your swords like some fire demon.

The cultist stands there dumb struck as you charge.
With one sword you cleave a deep gash from his forehead to jaw, as the other dives home in to his belly and lets out a torrent of entails.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Kick the door, then decide my next course of action based on what's behind it. If it's a human in chains being dragged; rush in with sword drawn. If it's a big monster or demon; back up and into the room on the left, also with sword drawn.

There's bad new folks, i've got some family stuff the deal with so the up date is getting split in two.


>Plunder.

You pull open desk draws, turn over beds and force open a chest.
in a  draw you find a small pile of rings, all of the same style, a snake eating its tail, they have set jewels of  eyes .
one is gold with sapphire eyes , three are silver with ruby eyes and the last one is brass with amber eyes

For a minute you eye up the drapes, there clearly worth a fair bit of coin but your not going to carry them with you right now.

Total loot gained 250 GP.

Kick the door, then decide my next course of action based on what's behind it. If it's a human in chains being dragged; rush in with sword drawn. If it's a big monster or demon; back up and into the room on the left, also with sword drawn.

You kick open the door and shout at the cultists
"Unhanded her you vile villain or face my steel!" you don't really know why you needed to shout but felt right.

In the low shadows you can't see much of the room, there's a 2 row's of low benches beside stone pillars, facing a large alter. 
Before the alter is a huge stone slab with a woman lining on it bound in chains.
Standing aside the woman is a pair of red robed cultists, some kind of high priest types.
Lowering his wicked looking dagger one of them turns to face you

"Kill the intruder!" he says with a snake like hiss.
As one the gathered cultists rise and turn to face you, drawing there daggers as one.
The good new is this gives you time to count them, the bad new is that you count seven of them.

What do you do now?

Part 2

Rush into the room and stab the first cultist I meet with my sword!
(Rolls basic hero's D8, vs D 6, 8 vs 6)

You rush in the fray with your blade at the ready and take a savage swing at them.
Steel bites deep in to the cultist' flesh, your blade is stuck fast, wedged in her flank's bone.
The blade bends as they fall to the floor before you can pull it free.

Leap inside and cripple a cultist with a couple rapid staff strikes.

(Rolls basic hero's D8, vs D 6, 1 vs 5)
(1d8 = 5 1d6 = 1)

leaping inside you take a swing with your staff that the cultists head but he ducks and stabs low at you.
The blade pierces your gi with ease and then your belly, straight and deep into the intestines.
You feel nauseous.

Bleeding but not out you whip up from the floor and smash it down on there shoulder with your full might.
With a crack there arm shifts down to an ugly and limp angle as it falls from the ruined socket.

Leap off and Kill the two to the right. 
(Rolls basic hero's D8, vs D 6, 5 vs 3)
(1d6 = 6 1d8 = 2)
(1d8 = 8 1d6 = 6)

Melvin swing at the cultists before him, the wide blow is ducked, an slash to the wrist sends his right hands sword clattering to the floor.

Seeing a weakness the woman pushes home the advantage with a flurry of blows, there's a stinging pain as the dagger slices open your left bicep.
As the other sword falls you grab there arm with your free hand and pull it across your body as slam your weighty shoulder in to the elbow.
The joint snaps with a loud crack as there also smashed in to the stone wall face first.

They've got this, right? Yeah, they've got this.
Hang out in the corridor until it's time to start looting again.
While the battle rages you lean on the wall, stretch your arm an think of what to cook..

"Stop Stop! i yeld yeld! please no more!" the last of the cultists standing cry's out as he throws his dagger to the floor.
At swords point he is pushed aside as you check the room behind him, its a simple bed room.

"Fight me!"

Cast aside my weapon and engage the last cultist in glorious hand-to-hand. Or just kill him if he's too much of a coward to fight.
