But then again, this IS the Unappreciated Philosophies thread, so at least we know these Philosophies are appropriate to the thread theme.

This is not true. Next Generation is going into the Future, and Last Generation is dying off.
That's like saying computers in 1970 are "pretty much" the same as Computers today.

I find it rude, after starting a thread to discuss things underappreciated-- that you tell me my own beliefs are undeveloped?

In my book, if you don't insult anyone or imply anything you can't be blamed for making your point. Getting broken up about it is unconsidered in a world full of different expectations for debate.

I view the future as much closer then you do. We're rolling dice on breakthroughs every day. There's a lot of transformative technologies in the world already just waiting to land, too. Text to image AI. Chatbots so good they can write academic papers. Cryptocurrencies that amount to feats of social engineering, trying to catch on.

That's a concrete, here-right-now, 1 minute artwork technology which you can play with in the right discords. Literally spits out Picasso's, or whatever style you choose. That alone permeating through society is a whole thing.

The future isn't 20 years away.
