Appearance: Lithe and regal with chiseled, angular features, Tallion stands slightly taller than the average human with pale skin. A long mane of flame red hair is kept tied back in a high ponytail. His slanted, almond shaped eyes are a dark blue; like the deep depths of an open ocean. Though his void armor is predominantly its natural wraithbone color, traces and highlights of crimson red and orange of Craftworld Kaelor can still be seen. A fine set of Eldar robes and an elegant, fur-trimmed long coat are all that denote the lofty status he once held among his former Craftworld.

Personality: As prideful as he is rebellious, Tallion has always questioned the ways of Kaelor and his people; often with a fiery impetuousness only found in the passions and inexperience of youth, regardless of race. His pursuit of a path other than those Ai'elethra, or Asuryani Paths, that protects equally well from the predations of She Who Thirsts has lead Tallion into trouble more than once; often with his own former home of Craftworld Kaelor. To him there has to be a middle ground between the focus and training the Ai'elethra provided and the freedom and flexibility that being an Anhrathe, or Outcast, gave.
Never one to sit idle, Tallion is filled with a wanderlust that has taken him far from his original home; seeking out the lost legacy of his people. He believes that all they've done since the fall is endure and stand idle; that they haven't thrived in the wake of disaster, they've only survived... and survival alone is not enough. He wants to see these relics and ruins put to use once more, and not just protected and gathering dust.
Ill tempered and grim, but pragmatic; Tallion has little patience for "lesser races", despite the necessity of dealing with them. He longs, more than most of his kind, for the glory days of the Aeldari empire that are often spoken of in legends... despite the very fall said glory lead to. To him, the galaxy belongs to the Aeldari, and it always will. But others now claim dominance in places that were once theirs.
While he doesn't deny other races they're place among the stars, the fact that his people often have to tread so carefully around such an easily corrupted race as even the Mon'Keigh is a constant sore spot for him. And though he will work with these foolish "humans"... he will never bow to their Imperium or be made to serve it's "god-emperor". Recognizing that his people might never achieve the reach they once had, he seeks to simply carve a place where the Aeldari might at last begin to truly rebuild; and not be bound by traditions or past failings.
Backstory: A scion to the House Ansgar of Craftworld Kaelor, one of it's great houses, Tallion was born to a life of privilege... and incredible expectations. For every little joy he had growing up, there were a thousand other little miseries and pressures to ruin it. Due to a mistake in the Craftworld's past, the need to conform to the Asuyani Paths was hammered into him from a very young age; with no room for deviation or expression. Making it all worse were the demands of his own house in the endless games of politics and intrigues; all in a bit to reclaim perceived status lost centuries before Tallion was even born, and rarely (if ever) serving the needs of Kaelor or the wider Aeldari... at least from his perspective as a child.
Tallion tried to handle it, he really did, but eventually the pressures just became too much for him. But he wanted to see what was out there and fly free. To have adventures like the ones he had heard in legends and see his peoples lost glories returned. Screw the petty politics of a single Craftworld. There had to be more to life than what the paths dictated, than what his people had been doing for thousands of year.
However he was always told that he was far too passionate for his own good. That he should trust the judgement of his elders; for they knew better. That the Farseers were steering Kaelor towards a better future or how his house's welfare was the Craftworld's welfare every time he questioned things. That he should just focus his mind on the Path he'd chosen, till he reached it's end, and not question things he knew nothing about.
For almost a century of his adulthood he worked to fit in, to perfect his craft, and to put aside all his misgivings. But it all continued to gnaw at him until... he just couldn't continue with the charade anymore. The entire system was crushing him beneath the stress. Too many of his questions remained unanswered. His passions and desires left far too unfulfilled by the Paths. And thus, he voluntarily became one of the Outcasts; signing up with the Twilight Swords the first chance he got.
Unfortunately it wasn't long after he joined the Corsairs, seeking the freedom of the open stars, when the Eye of Terror ripped open into the Great Rift. He, like so many in the galaxy, was sent reeling. And as whispers and rumors of what was going on filtered into the Koronus Expanse through the Webway, things grew even more desperate. Chaos had literally broken loose, ancient enemies were waking, and supply lines were taxed to the breaking point. The only thing still working were the Aeldari lines of communication through the Webways, and even they seemed less safe than usual.
And all the while rumors persisted of Ynnead's rise; heralded by his death cult and new Aeldari faction, the Ynnari. With the situation among the Twilight Swords increasingly grim, and little (if any) reliable aid coming through the Webway, a desperate decision was made to take a page out of the playbooks that some Aeldari groups had already seemed to do. To both renew as many bonds with other Aeldari groups as they could and seek out long-term allies among the Mon'Keigh.
As one of the newest members of the Twilight Swords, Tallion was tasked to prove his worth in these dark times. He would be one of the corsairs sent out to find allies, acquire resources, and reclaim needed relics using their skills... even if it meant turning to mercenary work among the Imperium. The prospect of having to work with Mon'Keigh now didn't sit well with him. But options are few, and rumors were persisting of some Aeldari groups doing such with some degrees of success. All he could hope for was Mon'Keigh either just as desperate for allies as he was... or at least who could see the benefits such cooperation could bring to both groups.
