Going to room three and eating three meat sounds good.

Update delayed because previous update was built on the back of actually doing the background work to decide what's in all the rooms. But I didn't make stats for the enemies yet. So next update will be when I stop procrastinating about making goblins.

Crisis, update 21, the Start

Quote
Eat three meat! And then go to three room!

You reach into your bag and grab a big clawful of bleeding meat, which you shove into your mouth and swallow immediately. You feel some strength return to you...
[-3 Meat Chunk, +6 HP]
And then your heart flutters a bit. From the poison.
[-2 HP]

You return to the central room and go through door number 3. Or weird membrane number 3. It slides open as you get close, just like before.

Within is a long and dim room. Wooden chairs are lined up facing the end of the room, which contains a strange box with antennas on top with a bright image on the front.
Four gribbly beings are sitting in some of the chairs, watching the antenna-box intently. They seem to be muttering something about "tee-veeee"...

[Agility, Difficult: Success! (60%)]

It seems they haven't noticed you yet. Three of the creatures have green mottled and bubbling skin, while the fourth has smoother but still gribbly orange skin. Your instincts tell you that one is most dangerous. It's also wearing some armor of decayed-looking metal rings.

Not sure if we should fight these things or try to talk to them, what do you guys think?

Oh right, talking. I guess that's something you could attempt. I mean, if you want.

I think our goal here is to level up a few times so that we get strong enough to face the invaders.  Four is a concern, though.

I think the thorndarts are poisoned, but these creatures look immune to it.

I think we should either Pounce/Bite the leader, or use furniture to do a multi-hit attack.  Leaning towards the former.

Pounce/Bite on the leader.

Since you have the liberty of seeing what the other side will do before you act, this mostly amounts to the decision to engage. Now that you have, you'll get to see the enemy's stats and intents, and can feel free to re-evaluate your opening move.

Fight!

You draw closer to pounce and kill. As you do, the creatures notice and scramble for weapons.
Too slow to stop you.

Quote from: enemy actions
Shorp, Leathery Filth Goblin
Poke Awuna with Goblinite Poker.
(Will deal 4 HP damage, unless stunned or killed.)

Kold, Normal Filth Goblin
Goblin Slap! Awuna.
(Will deal 1 HP damage and 1 AP damage for you next turn, unless stunned or killed. Note that killing Kold may cause a debuff.)

Groll, Gross Filth Goblin
Pick Awuna with Goblinite Pick.
(Will deal 4 Hp damage and 4 AP damage for your next turn, unless stunned or killed. Note that killing Groll may cause a debuff.)

Filnlinore, Plague Goblin
Counter Stance + Goblinite Axe.
(On your next turn, attacking Filnlinore will trigger an 8 sweep counter-attack. Dealing any Impact damage will prevent Filnlinore from adding the attack. Filnlinore has 7 Armor.)

Pounce Filnlinore? Or a different plan?

Hmm, this seems dangerous.  We can't simply tank all the impact, we'll run out of AP.

Wham! Groll, to remove the Filth Goblin and the really dangerous weapon.
Duck! to avoid the 8 damage Sweep attack.

That leaves us with 2 AP which will mean we aren't stunned by the incoming 1 Impact attack.

I'd like to double wham, but I don't think we can take that 8 damage sweep attack.  On the other hand, we can just keep ducking and if we get even one hit in, we'll have the legendary gobbo stunned for the next round.

We don't need to duck to avoid the sweep attack.  It only happens if we attack Fil next turn.  As long as we focus on the trash it's basically a free turn.

Slam Shorp.  Pounce Groll.

We can kill Groll next turn using thorndarts, or maybe crisis mind.

Pounce causes a mutual grab which cannot be ended except by one of us dying, so instead I vote to Run!.  This is not a winnable fight; there's far too much impact damage, and it's very hard to deal damage without taking severe penalties.

I think we can kill one before running.  Might be wrong, though.
