So if I understand this... the box did a 5 AP action. This normally would leave it at 1 AP next turn. We tricked it into actually doing something with that action (biting meat, rather than just waiting), which means it gets the full 3 AP next turn? So doing more with its action (and getting hit by a stun) actually means it ends up with more AP?
That's a tad BS.
Anyway, that means there's only a couple ways to win this fight. First, wait for it to tongue slap, dealing 5 damage to us, and pouncing it the same turn. Then we bite, which should kill it before its next action goes through*. Second, let it chomp twice in a row, which should stun it on the third turn, allowing us to bite and kill it. This annoys me, because both actions are essentially "wait for the enemy to defeat itself", but oh well.
If we do either of those, can we just fast forward to the win rather than waiting several days for each RPG turn where we press "pass"?
*It's a little weird that this would work, since its bite is a counter stance... that begins after our action. Which you'd mechanically think means it can't counter our hits, since it's not active yet. If we dealt 3 impact, wouldn't that stunlock it, preventing any action? Weirdly, this means hitting it when it has 1 AP is beneficial to it, because we gain nothing from stunning it, while it gains full AP.
Edit: We could also use 2 AP to feed if it tries tongue slap, giving a 66% chance of canceling the 5 damage attack, which is more healing than we'd get out of a chunk anyway. We'd still be able to same-turn pounce, and would have to pounce or run away on a tongue slap turn anyway. We could also use flee the first time it tries tongue slap, in hopes it goes back to trying chomp.
