I hope Putin realizes that if he uses a nuke offensively in the Ukraine that the last thing he will see are 190 (the 193 members of the UN minus the one or two fellow nazi collaborators) declarations of war in his inbox, a few seconds before Russia's population is reduced by a factor 100.
If the Russian army really wants to protect the lives of ethnic Russians and fight nazism they should rebel and coup.

Turkey has closed passage to and from the Black Sea for warships.
Let's hope Russia respects it. If they send a ship there now, it will be an act of war against a NATO country.

It became legally possible to do so the moment the Turkish government changed their classification of the Ukrainian conflict to 'war', which they did.
They are now obliged by the Montreux treaty from 1936 to close the passage for all warships.

There is no need for using nukes. Ukraine has hydroelectric dams on a large river and several big juicy nuclear power stations. Bombing those is something Russia may actually do, either intentionally or because their aim is... not best.

The past few days saw footage and messages online of black people complaining about racism during their attempt to exit the Ukraine.

Whether this footage and messaging is real or just more Russian fake news trying to paint us as nazis is unknown, but at least the Nigerian government is taking it seriously.
