Crown Eye watches the... the what? There's... oh no.
The
Mirror of All That IS unfurls. It too blossoms into patterns, into life, into eyes. It is, yet is not. It decides that it is
God.God considers the world, in its disarray and decay. Life strains to live, yet it cannot, not without help. So
God lays the foundation.
Objects have many faces, all jutting out seemingly randomly. Too confusing. A grid is imposed.
Crownward and Seedward now align with the X.
Mirrorward and Insideward now align with the Y.
Bananaward and Finalward now align with the Z.
Secondward is contextualized not as a face, but as a fourth axis. One which flows in only one direction.
Hiddenward is spared this indignity, by virtue of being hidden.
Thus
God concludes its first
Day, having the nerve to even invent an untrue 'time' unit for itself, roughly equivalent to 85,000 Seconds.
Hidden Eye looks at the secrets. What exactly it sees and observes are unknown.
Seed Eye rests. All it sees on the inside of its eyelid is seeds. Endless, bountiful, seeds.
Mirror Eye looks to the Seed. It had already burst and was no more for many billions of Seconds, but this is no impediment to an Eye.
Life finds itself cycling, banana plants returning to seed to plant to seed to plant to

Second Eye ticks back and forth. And back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and
driving all that is further and further into the murky state known as the future.
While
Some Beings may see fit to simplify, this remains the one true form of timekeeping.
Inside Eye watches the
Brain carefully from its socket inside of the skull. Truthfully, with the
Stars being wrong,
Godhead functions other than watching are declined, and the brain moves at a crawl. The speedy and selfish memes which once crawled within are a dying breed, left without nourishment.
Banana Eye glances at the everything, which in fact is all made out of bananastuff. There's a small amount of variation in terms of whether it's the whole plant or just the banana part or a swamp of mushy inside stuff or a wild beast made from banana peel, but it is all made out of banana stuff because that's what matter is, right.
Well, except for
God. That thing seems to be made from mirror-banana, which is very different and possibly not a form of matter depending on your perspective.
The Make Eye looks to the stars. There are so many, and so far...
It looks at one in particular. The star is in fact a celestial sphere, alight in a cloud of noise, wrapped around a fragmented world. Make Eye watches a
Divine, a humanoid thing crafted from
Starlight, corrupt and mutate what it touches.
Clearly, this raises philosophical questions about whether an Eye's gaze truly has any effect on the outside world, or whether anything that happens is due to outside
Agency, and would have just happened anyways, and indeed the power of an Eye is not to bring about
Consequence, but to simply
find it.
Well, it raises those questions for the Reader. Eyes are sensory organs, they don't do philosophy! You'd have to ask the
Brain.
Final Eye takes its gaze to the void outside of the extant world. It is deeply, extremely empty.
A moment later,
God throws a sheet over the void, and the stars beyond. Certainly marking the end of one's ability to observe them.
Thus ends the First Day.
During which the four axes were established, and a nice curtain was thrown up to properly define the world's borders.
God has big plans for this place! It really just needs that Divine Touch!
