After the class ends, Professor Means asks Jack to stick around for a bit. X also begs off lunch to go speak with his father, leaving the 6 of you to follow a grey robot to a rooftop where lunch is being served. There you found Orbot and a number of dishes to choose from.

"Hello. Again. This will be where lunch is normally served, the sides have specialized force fields for blocking weather and stray gusts, so you can also use this area to duel after school, or during lunch as the kids do in other schools. You are expected to at least eat something. Regulations for schools require it."

"Simply pick up your plates and grab what's interesting. Trashcan is over there." Orbot points to a strangely futuristic machine, then detracts back into ball form. Likely all you will get out of him without poking.


It's Lunchtime, and CYOCGTCG.
Hikari and Miles are available to challenge, along with the other students(you).
Except for Jack, Professor Means held him back.

Gary goes to inspect the food. He then shuffles his revised deck.
He responds to Sandy. "Alright. I'll take your challenge!"

The first Table has been claimed. Sand vs Beast begins.

Lina piles herself up a plate of... everything, and then heads off to a table. Once there, she opens up her backpack, and begins laying out practically a whole additional buffet. While she does not double up on any of the dishes provided, she deploys entire menus worth of other foods. Then, she sits down, and begins eating. After roughly a second, her original plate is cleansed like it was fresh out of the dish washer, and she has started on the next one.

Hesitantly(though more to stop eating than anything else) she takes her deck and places it on the table, an open invitation of challenge.

Seeing the girl enjoying her meal, Hikari comes up with her own tray of steamed vegetables and chicken rice. "Hey, let's duel, k?"

Light vs Snacks starts now. Grasp victory Lina!

Miles happens to be reading on his tablet as he eats, occasionally tapping it's protected screen. His deck isn't out though. (Going to guess Unraveller isn't dueling?)

((I understand the point you’re making but I actually do drink melted ice cream, it tastes good and doesn’t hurt my teeth or throat, but yes, food and drink are separate, food tends to be edible solids))
