You go back up the shaft, Sessha bringing up the rear, and climb out of sight of the bizarre ooze.

Potion bottle, uh... sorta worked for the Jacithium Emission? This is... probably less volatile, but it might creep us out just being near...

Try scooping some into an empty potion bottle. Sessha might want to handle this bit, since she's probably the most familiar with horrors beyond mortal comprehension.

Sessha slowly inches down.  Fortunately, she was the last one up, which makes it much easier to go back down.  On ground level, you can see her staring, staring into the horizontal abyss, waving a bottle at the puddle of ooze at her feet.  After a couple of tries she manages to fill it up, and your shouts break her stare into the unknown.  One quick bottle cap and some help getting back up and you're now richer one bottle of weird gray ooze.

Yes, gray ooze.  The.. thing was blueish, but the ooze itself is gray.  And it looks disgusting.  Yes, disgusting even for Trence.

Is it possible for a monster to possess or control some kind of mundane(ish) substance? Like, if you had a ghost that was possessing a spooky doll, would the doll remain once you had slain the ghost?
