Sheet update. Also yes, nervous guildsman, but also a sense of pride. It's a cool thing to have a ship named after royalty!

Right, that's plenty of procrastination.

Year 2 Autumnrise
TURNTURNTURN
Intended Improvements Company has been liquidated!

To Ashford Core,

Having been stung by a recent failing debt, and having loaned a substantial amount to another company, the Crown is not comfortable with such a substantial loan amount at present. We would be willing to offer no more than 4 Guineas towards a new enterprise, at 6% compound monthly interest, thanks to your varied portfolio, and reputation as an upstanding member of the community (costing 2 favour).

The Royal Exchequer

Near the end of the month, the 'West Wind' and the 'Laden Swallow' both return to the Motherland.

RiverFort LTD gains +4.5 Copper and +1 Sand.
Windborne Ventures Company gains +3 Copper.
Blue Fish Enterprises gains +2 Copper.
H&S Inc gains +0.5 Copper.
Iron Mountain Ind., Mineral CO and  Nagant Ventures gain +3 Sand.

The price of Sand rises to 0.55 Guineas. The price of Lumber drops to 0.5 Guineas. The price of Copper rises to 0.95 Guineas.

I propose we withhold the copper in our warehouses in order to further raise the prices.

With a number of ships expected to return next turn, it would make most economic sense to flood the market all at the same time.

Last time product was withheld, the price lowered drastically. The reason this is transparentized is because I’m no longer in the game

Blue Fish Enterprises will sell their two Copper at .95 Guineas each for a total of 1.9 Guineas, then pay off their 2 Guinea share-backed loan from Sharks and Loans.

I did not factor in the potential RISE in sand. Oh man, please stay that way next turn, that'd be huge xD. (Or rise further!)

Yes, I think I’ll wait though to see how others deal with loans so I don’t repeat the same mistake

If I may: don't take a loan and spend 80% of it on things that make no money back. :P.
5 guinea loan, you put 2 into repairs where you, by shares, only owed .35. putting 2 into an expedition with a loan was also a mistake, as that makes no money. Taking a loan out is so you can make more money quicker, and should all of it be invested into ships to make the money back. Atleast, that's my 2 cents on it.

Alrighty, well, I was hoping to make the entire investment back immediately but since copper is being sold and the price seems likely to fall, not rise, I'm going to just sell all 3 Copper now. It's unfortunate that I can't really wait but seeing prices drop further would be unfortunate. If everyone/almost everyone else likewise avoids selling Copper this turn or I can't figure out anything to do with it this turn then I'll refrain from selling.

Sell 3 Copper for 2.85 Guineas.

Maybe now that ships cost 10 Guineas again more people would be willing to invest in a new ship?
