"Let's go then! This is exciting!!" Aliberti took a deep breath at the enthusiasm of his sister, but said nothing.

"Alright. May Creator guide you in your quest." The elderly priest took few steps away from the group, and, alongside his acolytes, began chanting and singing of the ritual incantation.

Soon, the magicians' chanting reached a melodic phase, and then there was a flash of light.

The group landed on their feet, mostly stable, except Maria who fell face-first into Aliberti's chest, and Elana, who arrived upside-down and tumbled on the ground.

It was a lush, forested area, with white sun and a smaller golden one high in the sky. Despite their bright presence, the air was chill and the gusts of wind cold.

"Oh, uh, Maria, are you alright?"

"W-Woah! Where are we??" There was a brief pause as Rosana looked around.

"EEK!!"

"What the!?"

"Undead!!" Aliberti looked down the road, where a quintet of armed skeletons had surrounded a man and a pile of scattered crates and bags.

"What are they doing to him?! Quick, we must stop them!"

Well, this place didn't seem all that bad! Sure, there was a chill cast to the air, but as someone who'd spent her life on the sea, she was more than used to a cool breeze or two! And it was lovely out here, with the grass and the trees, and the two pretty suns, and... and...
:"Undead, again! Oh no, I DID jinx us! I'm sorry, Prince! Oh, I've probably accrued all sorts of bad luck- but- um, I'll... I'll go help that man!"

It was a beautiful day with nary a puddle in sight as they emerged from the portal opened by the ritual spell.  The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the undead hordes were charging...

...typical, really.  Irina reached to one of the tome cases on her belt, and the new tome dropped easily into her hand as the Princess and Baruk shouted warning.

"Understood, Baruk.  Pardon me one moment..."

Moving forward past the others, she immediately let loose with a blast of light at one of the other skeleton alongside Seppi's target.

As with before, Maria simply waited for the ritual to complete, arms folded all the while. The incantations sounded a bit more clear now, seeing as how they’ve had more time to prepare. Though, even as they began to reach a crescendo, Maria’s thoughts couldn’t help but wander to the potential world they would be visiting next. With any luck, it would be a bit more sunny, and not as old, dark and dusty as the previous-

FWOOSH

Suddenly, all of Maria’s thoughts were interrupted by the brief moment of transportation, followed by the distinct feeling of falling, much like the first time they had teleported. But, unlike last time, Maria wasn’t the first to hit the ground. Instead, she was one of the last, the position the spell left her in causing her to crash right on top of Aliberti.

… Needless to say, the highly valued, seemingly cold hearted killer took a few moments to access the situation she was in, only to push herself up off of the Prince the instant she processed what had happened,

“M-My deepest apologies my Lord, I had- No, the Elders- No, dammit! Maria stammered out, turning away from the Prince as she swore under her breath. Never in her life had she been subjected to THIS type of humility. And in front of mercenaries no less! Once they had returned, she would have to confront those two old men and figure out why they were doing this to her. One time she could chalk up to as coincidence, especially since everyone else at the time also fell into a large pile, but twice? When multiple others were able to land on their feat? That wasn't a coincidence, that must have been planned.

Thankfully, Maria's planning (or possible murder plot) was interrupted once again by Irina moving past her, causing Maria to snap her head towards her direction, then at the undead. Unlike normal however, instead of annoyance at having to deal with more undead, Maria seemed pretty joyful about the sight, quickly unslinging her bow from her shoulders,

“Ah, yes, undead, far more pressing matters. Forget all about what just happened my Lord, it is of no consequence."

Maria goes up to (5,7) and Chakrams Skele B
