...Lucille would have literally tortured you for ten years on Magnus' order-- hell, he was planning on having you kill Cephie until you literally ripped yourself free of it.

Without Lucille, we would have died several times over.  Lucille was subverted by Magnus, but I doubt this suit will have a problem with that.

It was going to be so fun when you met Magnus in person for the first time wearing that armor. ;-;

You dip your head in a nod, and a very concerned pirate tosses you the datapad before scurrying away behind a blast door. The armor's eyes track him as he flees, then they return to you. With a duck of your head, you ride the air lock to the hull of the ship. The suit follows along behind you like an obedient dog.

 In the end, you have to put the armor back on, and, with a twist of your wings, you head to the forest -- far away from the Crusader Encampment. When you set down again, you immediately give the open command and stumble out of the beast, swallowing down your fear as it...stands. Nearby. Watching.

You shake your head and return to look at your datapad. No doubt they'll deliver to the Crusader Encampment, and, you realize, you can look over a weapon and view the specs from here. A small screen pops up of the Armorer, who gives a limp wave when he sees you. "Good to see you're still alive."

I think we should reserve a majority of the funds for planetary development and weapons manufacturing, but it would be good to get some armor for Emma, for some of our Crusaders, and also some las-guns as well.  Our Ascended could use the more expensive emitters as well, with the cheaper ones for our Crusaders.  We could ask about the PACKMULE.  What else?

+1, armor is important, as is planetary development and weapon manufacture.
Ask the armorer what it means when an AI is chained, as is the case with Voidmarine armor

((Refers to the AI's tie to Empyreal command, I think. That said, I imagine your elder-character would know more... <mnemonic queries>, remember? :)) ))

I don’t like that we limit minds...I suppose it was safe. How do they feel, knowing their creators limit them due to fear?

Ask the armorer “What are the names of the AIs that control the Level 2 and Level 5 armors, respectively? How do the major and minor AIs think? How severe are their chains?

Here's a proposal for purchases: 200 level 2 armor pieces, 200 las-rifles, 200 rail-gun slug throwers, 3 hardlight emitter shells, 500 level 1 emitter shields, 500 level 1 cutter hilts, 2 level 5 cutter hilts, 4 nuclear guns, and 5 mini-nuke warheads.

That's a total of 17,940 credits.

Based on the information given... I do not believe these "chained AIs" to possess true sapience. By the very nature of the Chain system, they "feel" nothing.

Hm... large transaction. Over half our barter reserve.
I'd like a bit more information as to what we'd be purchasing here.

Don't sign off on anything just yet. Let's have a look at the specs on the proposed equipment first?

Agreed. Checking the specs of the weapons and armor are important.
