Grrr. If we were in a different spot we could have knocked it into the water and been done. As is, if we hit it we'll knock it into our econ building and destroy it. And we can't move, so we're losing a building either way.

AI Pilot: Affirmative. Engaging Vek from the west.

Combat Phase, Mid Winter, 11 AV

Drill Mech 1 moves onto the ice at C3, and drives down to C4. The AI Pilot activates the GEO DRILL! The Park catches on fire, setting the Spider on fire. The Spider takes 1 damage from the drill. The Spider slams into the cocoon taking 1 damage and destroying the cocoon.

Invasion Phase II, Mid Winter, 11 AV

Last Turn

The Alpha Spider moves to E4 and launches a cacoon at C3, sticking to Drill Mech 1, and launches another cocoon at B2.

There's no point killing the caccoons, combat ends after this turn. We should kill the spider so that we get its research.

No, the Mech can't move cause of that cocoon... We are stuck here till we destroy it.

Hopefully getting out of a straight range would keep us from getting stuck again.

I didn't see anything that said we can't go over the flaming park, so I think we should still be able to attack the spider.
