Due to his natural proclivity of working with machines, he quickly joined the Tinker guild, and was just as quickly assigned to this mission by the guild. (3) Arps revs the chainsaw, and sticks in into the beast, but the saw just gets gummed up immediately and becomes stuck to the monster. (4) This causes the creature to reach around and lock its beak around the hapless robot. (3+3 health) The creature tosses Arp against the wall, battered, but still functional.

Ichor leaks from various wounds, and the creature momentarily stops digging. However, just when it seems to have given up, it manages to recover enough to continue its progress with a renewed fury.

(2) Frank is so caught up in the glory of the situation he doesn't see the sidewise tentacle the hits him square in the ribs (7+2=9 health). Bruised and battered, but still standing, Frank catches his breath.

A tidal wave of black ichor spurts out of the beasts's head, before the thing shudders and falls to the ground, remaining perfectly still once and for all.

It's probably not right to eat the mutated hell-beast, but celebrate anyway.
