PTW, because I'm always late for quality NQT game, it seems.
You might be able to join the next one, if a next one happens

Not too late if you'd like to join, Haspen. 7 players is fine. I'll be starting the game in a few hours time, so if you submit before then you're in.

So, to be clear, at the end of each player's turn (and at character creation) players choose one action that will be available during the next set of turns.

You know how in Hexland you can only do Expanding in Summer and Fall? Well, in this game, you can only do Expanding (or any other action) if at least one player picked it the previous year (in this game, rounds are measured in years rather than seasons). So at this stage in character creation, you don't choose what action you'll be taking, just one of the actions.  Look up the thread and see that other players have chosen an action and put it in bold.

(Also note that recruiting normally requires the right building to house the new recruits in, and nobody has selected the 'Build' action.)

Eh? I thought we started with a building for our terrain?

So... build, eh... Can I still recruit if I have no places to store them? Cause if not, I need to change my action choice.

Right now we are choosing the actions that will be available for the next set of turns. If no one has recruit this turn, we can’t recruit in the next turn set

That wasn't my question. I was asking if you can even recruit if you have no buildings for them>?

Here is what it says about when
You can only recruit each of these if you have the relevant building for them. If a building is conquered or destroyed, any being it contains is lost.
So we need to build buildings first

Nature girl is right. You start with a castle, but no elemental buildings, and you need a relevant building to successfully recruit. You could expand, build, then use your free recruitment for one being. Feel free to change your action if you want.

Year 1 & Embark

The petitioners arrive in the great beyond, standing on the edge of a vast plane of twisted elements. Right now the elements are in balance, but soon they will bent to the will of the dead in the name of their gods...

If Haspen would like to join, you're still able to, just make a god and take your first turn.

Turn Order
1 - CrazyAbe - Aktorosh Chaos/Evil
2 - Kashyyk - Goo Lord - Chaos/Water
3 - Naturegirl1999 - Nymphra - Water/Life
4 - TricMagic - Foren - Order/Life
5 - Notquitethere - Sprightly Air/Peace
6 - Shadowclaw777 - Deus Vultio - Life/War

On your turn please do the following:
1. Pick an edge tile to embark on that matches one of your favoured domains. You get a castle there.
2. Do two actions. The possible actions are Recruit, Domain, Expand, Build (you are allowed to do the same action twice, you cannot do Wall, Transform, Conquer). You also get a free action based on the action you selected (e.g. if you selected Expand, you get a free expansion).
3. Pick an action for players to choose from in Year 2 (this can the same as another player's actions, and keep in mind the selection bonus).

We should do embarking selection in order, but in future turns players can submit out of order if their actions couldn't be effected by another player.

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
(I can make the map smaller if people need.)

Players (in Divine order)

My own fault for picking such colours, but the purply blue is the lake tile, not the light blue (that's cloud). I can recolour the map if this is confusing?

. . .Ok then, Though the "purply blue" looks a lot more like straight purple to me.
