It's the whole HTTP thing. I'm still using the exact same Imgur link as I was...oh heavens, almost four years ago.  Pull out the "S" and make it an HTTP, and it'll work.

You sure it's not HTTPS? Also maybe scale it down.

There is an upper limit to size iirc, so scaling it down may very well work
