Council: Things quiet. Some worry about stronk Kaiju. Very satisfied with overall progress.
Listening Posts: Miserable. The fake crew is stuck actually working and is unable to make much progress in sniffing out the basic designs. To make things worse, the crew in the USA has a member caught with an unsecure device in a secure area, and is being detained. They aren't sure if they'll get expelled or be okay, and will try to lay low.
Hand: The hand crew uncover The Plan. It's fairly ingenious, actually, they intend to puppet a balkan state's government, and take it over to gain international recognition as a free mercenary state. They then plan on using their elevated status to infiltrate areas with kaiju-based weaponry and hold most of the world hostage. You're not sure how realistic it is, but it'll be annoying at best if it occurs.
HA: The PR centre will possibly reduce the penalty to funding for there being a lot of funding sloshing about already. It'll apply onto to HA, naturally.

Well, it's an electromagnetic force field. It should be applicable to all vehicles of at least size small, and should improve their protection markedly. It'll also cost 50/set. It doesn't make an unarmored artillery piece into a tank, but it'll be harder than a MRLS, and you aren't certain what the limits on this are.. it should be applicable to modern tanks.
Future improvements are possible, but your scientists think it'll be easier to make stronger versions of this if they are intended only for use on larger vehicles than small ones, but small ones (and personal ones) should be possible.
You are also now the proud owner of a submarine.. and a permanent scientist. Score! Also impressive are the dual-head warheads, there's enough for about four units, which is more than you were expecting.

Lastly, your current scientist apologizes for not managing to reverse-engineer the transport plane. Apparently all the weapons testing and EXTREME NOISEMAKING was just too distracting. It should be completed next month.

You're not certain if it's the original Waspra, or if one of the later ones won a fight.

Several weeks later, you are now looking at an incredibly blurry vehicle. This, fortunately, can be turned off and is only on the outside of the vehicle, but you are now certain that at least some projectiles will get disrupted in the Disruptor Zone.
On the downside, the vehicle now seems to hate the ground, giving it wiiiiide turns with all wheels spinning wildly.
On the plus side, it can totally drift.
