"What is such a hurry and terror that you bit your tongue, young soldier?"
"A s-ssalamander, my liege! Salamander has sprung forth from earth and is destroying villages at the border with Satorias!" Courtiers murmur and few lecture them on Salamanders. You don't believe you've heard of these, so you turn to the Advisor.
"What is a Salamander?"
"A large, wingless lizard dwelling underground, my liege." The Advisor responds, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "They're mostly solitary creatures, but once upon last century, a seven of them laid waste to southern Satorias, until Palu of Coriano, the greatest lancer of the time, quested to slay them one by one."
"They breathe fire?"
"Some breathe fire, some poisonous vapors, some spit sulphuric bile, and some exhale a freezing mist. Their scales are as tough as steel, and their teeth can crunch bones with ease, and they gobble up livestock, children and maidens like breakfast." Your wife nearly faints hearing the description, so you wave at the Advisor.
"To the point; they can be killed, right?"
"Indeed, my liege. How should we attempt to do so?"
A) "Send my mighty Army to slay the big lizard!"
B) "Obviously, I take up lance and skewer the damn reptile myself!
!C) "Let's wait, maybe it will migrate to torment people of Satorias instead."
D) "We must find a Witch so that she uses her power to slay the beast!"
E) "Get me some adventurers, I'm sure there's some salamander-slayers for hire out there!"
