Scythe Squad Heavy Automatic Weapon
Triple barreled revolving autocannon with backpack energy storage. Two fire modes: "normal" bullets and a shotgun blast, allowing for riot control at an unsurpassed level.

Based on the weapons of our light jets, we have created an infantry portable light gun. A relatively light one at that. The Scythe-SHAW is able to be used in conjunction with shields, at the same time to be exact, thanks to the fact that only one arm is needed to shoot the thing from the hip, as we managed to pack most of the stuff into the backpack. The two fire modes come out... interestingly. The basic firing mode is roughly analogous to our light jet's guns, able to tear through light cycles and infantry, but struggles against heavier targets. The shotgun mode fires at about the same rate by default, but doesn't do much damage, to infantry or vehicles, it does knock stuff back though, filling the area in front of the autocannon with small light bolts. Excellent mode for crowd control, pushing back large groups and holding them there, and crowd murder with sustained fire from multiple scythes. The backpack can hold about... 100 rounds worth of fire before needing a recharge, though a plug on the back lets it be hooked into a base's energy reserves via a pipe. it does have a few issues, mainly that its reaallly hard to aim when using both a shield and a scythe, and also that its too awkward to be used while riding a light crawler.
