Fiman
Fiman looks at Kit and then at the old male, before looking back at Kit and nodding. "That could work. However, depending on the result of this test, I may still eat the fruit. I am tougher than all of you, so I should be fine if it turns out to be poisonous or something similar."

In the character list it says Sassalik is in F5 despite the fact that she is actually in F6. Also, I took a half-hour to make the rest of those character sheets I was talking about earlier. Still haven't received a reply to my first post about them, so I'll just use them myself for now.
I would not mind if you make them but I don't know how I want to handle the management of them yet. I will haver to think about it more. I thought about making some in that format after I saw your post but I could not figure out how you put together mouse overs.

Like this:
Acronym=Blahh blahh]Word[/Acronym]

That is missing the first square bracket so you can see it, but with the square bracket in place it looks like this:
Word
As far as I know you have to type it, no specific button for it.

And here's the ones I made:
Spoiler: TankKit(Fiman) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: KitRougard(Kit) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Blood_Librarian(Sigil) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Nirur torir(Nirur) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Detoxicated(Sassalik) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Aigre Excalibur(Amy) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: TricMagic(Star) (click to show/hide)
The difference between the spoiler name and the name inside the spoiler is intentional, by the way. As for the rest, it's as accurate as I can make it. Still not sure whether or not intelligence adds to or replaces the relevant stats though.

Alright, I'm pretty sure the sheets are accurate now.

Sassalik goes to f5 and eats fish. Free research to poetry. She also begins to dig a deeper nest

If I'm not mistaken, you can access the Communal Inventory at tiles close to it, besides major obstructions.

Jaynie Morgan @ F6

Kit
"Wait, no."
he said to his brother as he munched on one of his familiar blue fruit. He put out his free hand to stop the yellow fruit from entering Fiman's mouth. Kit then pointed at the crazy old male. " It sounds cruel, but we can check food on him."
Kit walked over to the dancing male (in F6, where else?) with a yellow fruit,  and offered it to him. If the male is confused, Kit makes biting motions to convey "eat this!" After the male eats the fruit, watch what happens with him.

Why now? Checking for poison can just as easily be done when foraging season is over. Or if there's a gap in known-edible foraging seasons, we can check for poison then.
It's most action-efficient for me to check for poison, since herbalism should tell me more than just 'poison/not-poison' and I'll want to check things over anyway, for apothecary reasons. It might be slightly safer, though not as safe as poison-checking with the crazy guy or Fiman.

You can do another action than just moving and eating, and don't need to move there to eat from the communal stockpile. Could you dig the nest deeper, if you can't think of anything else?

I said I may still check, not that I'd check right after. And feel free to check for poison or other effects yourself, I was just going to do it because I wasn't sure anyone else would do it and I'm better suited to surviving potential damage. I will still test the rest of them myself if you suffer any damage though.

I'm going to make a quick rules clarification: Eating is a free action; but its success rate may be less than 100% if you combine it with certain other actions.

websim.ai is coming dangerously close to being able to run Gridhood. Maybe I'll live to see the day if I exercise, eat right, and somehow convince the world's governments not to nuke everyone.

I can just imagine a medic in the middle of a firefight surrounded by wounded soldiers just saying "Look, just hold on, I'll be able to help you as soon as I finish my lunch!"

Eat a fish. Try and observe how the adults get more fish. Go get some fish as well.
