There are staturemancers who can bring statues to life, reading the secrets of life and death has a chance of producing statuemancers, however necromancer nor statuemancers know which they are until they attempt

Romance can occur between ghosts and living creatures. Such unions can produce half-ghost children.  Half-ghosts can switch between ghostly and living at will.  Like regular DF ghosts, they can fly through walls, but only when not wearing or carrying anything.

They switch between ghost and living randomly while tantruming. If they're inside a wall when they become living, they get atomsmashed. If they're in a tile with a non-prone creature when it happens, both of them fuse into a single creature, usually resulting in death.

Romances can only occur if the ghost was a Broker in life, and the living dwarf is at least a Talented Potter. Haunting the replacement Broker and communicating through a sassy medium is optional.

Monarchs are now guaranteed to haunt a few random on-duty soldiers shortly after dying. They prioritize ones who are busy guarding burrows.

Blood contaminent does not wash off hands of murderers, and the ghosts of dead leaders haunt their guilty replacements just before their own battles.

Blood shouldn't be able to be washed off, it should also attract ghosts who hate and desire to kill anyone that has any amount of blood on them.
