See if their are stores that sell leather gloves (hides fingerprints), a tactical one would be great; a ski mask or baraclava we can wear when things get hectic and we need to hide our facial appearance, and some form of fiber wire we can get from a piano, guitar string, cable wire; anything that can be used for garroting

Pawnz Gang Leader Assassinated!
An attack on the Luther Apartments at about 8 PM this past Friday has left three men dead, including the infamous gang leader known as "Mad Tony." One survivor of the attack remains in critical condition. Police are heavily suspecting that the attack was carried out by the many, many enemies the Pawnz have made, including the equally notorious Aquila gang. Earlier today, the library was burned down by members of Citizens Against Literacy. When questioned about why he did so, one member of the group was quoted as saying "Literacy is communist witchcraft, man! Wake up! All members involved in the attack have been arrested, and are expected to be charged for arson and put into prison for a very, very long time...
Malfunctioning police drone crashes into gas station, kills 7
A test run for the city's new police drone program has gone horribly wrong. At 2 PM yesterday, a police drone's navigational systems went haywire, causing it to crash directly into the pumps of a gas station and explode. Seven people caught in the explosion were so horrifically mutilated that paramedics immediately pronounced them dead on the scene. This does not bode well for the future of the city's drone policing program, already marred with controversy after controversy...
Moderate Crime Squad strikes again! Shooting at coffee shop leaves 15 dead, 12 wounded
The Moderate Crime Squad has struck again. At noon today, a van pulled up outside a coffee store and the people inside indiscriminately opened fire into the crowd, killing and wounding many people belonging to both sides of the political spectrum. Witnesses reported hearing members of the group shouting "We need a slogan!" before the van pulled away. 15 victims were pronounced dead at the hospital, with 12 more victims sustaining serious, life-threatening injuries...
Just as you finish reading, a car suddenly pulls up to you, and the windows roll down. A woman in a hat leans out of the window, and begins to speak:
"Go to the hospital at the outskirts of the city. You are to deal with Doctors Rocque, Redshank, and Faye. We know that Rocque dresses his hair like Elvis. Redshank is a redhead with heterochromia. Faye has artificial eyes. We will be watching. Do not fail us."You make your way to the outskirts of the city, with night falling as you get closer and closer. The cityscape gives away to the countryside and eventually forests before you finally see the hospital building's exterior. The full moon shines brightly through the clouds, and a forest of dead trees guarded by partially overturned fences is visible in the vicinity of the building. It is somewhat dark inside the hospital, with the few remaining lights visible flickering on and off constantly.
You can't see any more of the hospital's interior unless you continue walking the path, getting closer and closer to the front doors and windows. Going around is impossible, as the trees on both sides of the entrance have formed an impenetrable barrier, stretching wide as far as you can see. Was this hospital always here? You don't really go outside the city that much.
Something dark flickers at the edge of your vision, you think. After blinking and cautiously taking a look around, you fail to see or hear anything other than the dead trees and the howling of the wind. It feels like there are eyes watching you.
Something isn't right, but who are you to complain when your freedom is on the line?
