Nicolai attempts to eavesdrop with his back to the wall of the bridge, using his construction skills to use clues to find out where the wall would be thinnest.

Also, try and steal a radio to give to his daughter.

I am a ninja, and getting her a radio is imperative.

He would then just say "How can I be a traitor when I'm not a citizen of your nation?
This line of reasoning doesn't work with Forenia, sadly. How could I be traitor to Forenia if I was always Arstotzkan, not Forenian.

Also, try and steal a radio to give to his daughter.

If possible, would you also steal a bunch, and toss them over, so that over at the other game we can communicate between parties over short distance?

Because Vlanladosians are of Arstotzkan blood...Though its been over 100 years at least since they where in Arstotzka. The nation was created when Arstotzka was still owned by the brits by pioneers who where blown off course and into the hell hole that is Vlanlados...

You do realize that your people arrested the leader of the Vlanladosian spy ring about a year ago, yes? My spy master, a noble who was sadly the best thing I had, was the one to lead the spy ring in your nation. The Forenian scoffs. "Deception and nonsense quite predictable for you, Ovechkin. The truth will come out at trial."

Blanc Kuro has protected the Royal Family since inception, and he will continue to do so.
Also, try and steal a radio to give to his daughter.

I am a ninja, and getting her a radio is imperative.

Shoot the Katzar, he can't be executed by Forenians if he's dead.

Nicolai Kovalyuk is what you think of when you think "Slavic". Coat, Ushanka, and utterly ridiculous bushy moustache. He has a bit of experience with construction work, and brought a small bottle of medicine to help soothe the Katzar's old bones. He also carries a notebook and pencil. Presumably for monitoring the Katzar's condition, in reality to also write down abuses of prisoners for eventual presentation to a war crimes trial.

Nicolai sits on a bench on deck with his back resting on a wall. Perhaps something can be heard through it?
Nicolai attempts to eavesdrop with his back to the wall of the bridge, using his construction skills to use clues to find out where the wall would be thinnest.

Bobby "Bob" Bobkikov was formerly a Vlandosian factory worker. But now, he has barely a few years to live, fast approaching the age where most Vlandosians die of supposed "radiation posioning". Bah! Lies to cover lack of faith in the Overkin. Bringing with him a tool box to fix the Overkin wheelchair, he also uses it to hide a knife, a flare, and his lunch.

Escort the Overkin for now.

I also would like to join this.

I'll be an generic Vlandosian.
I sneak a knife on board with me.

These are all the actions I've received so far. I'll begin the slow process of processing them soon. Anyone else that wants to join had better post quick.

And, apparently "never" means "in 2 hours or so"

So characters:

TricMagic: Blanc Kuro: +2 to stealth-related stuff since you’re a ninja
Kot: Generic Vlanladosian
Doubloon-Seven: Nicolai Kovalyuk: +1 to architecture-related stuff
TheFantasticMrFox: Bobby Bobkikov: +1 to manufacturing I guess
King Zultan: Generic Vlanladosian

That is… a small turnout.

Now, being allowed onto the ship:

Blanc Kuro: I’m guessing there’s nothing whatsoever that suggests you’re more than a random Vlandosian, so no roll needed.

Kot: Not bringing anything.

Nicolai Kovalyuk: They have no problem with you bringing medicine and a notepad

Bobby Bobkikov: I feel like they wouldn’t be too happy with a knife

+1 advantage (who checks a tool box anyway?)
Roll: 2 2 → Failure

…apparently, Forenians check a tool box. They find the knife and take it. They can’t find any solid evidence that you had ill-will when bringing it on, but just to be sure, they confiscate your tool box as well, your flare and lunch still in it.

King Zultan: Bringing a knife.

No advantage or disadvantage
Roll: 6 → Gone horribly right Overshoot has no meaning in this context, so I’ll let it slide

Zultan manages to get a knife onboard hidden up his sleeve.

It does cut his arm though.

Right, now actions

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Ovechkin is unceremoniously thrown onto the deck of the Tiger Justice. The Vlanladosians on the Crabby Wrench laugh and jeer. “Good riddance!” one bellows. “Take his wheelchair

The Forenian lieutenant steps forward. “Take this man to the brig,” he orders quietly. “We don’t expect any trouble, but don’t get careless.” He then turns to the Vlanladosian followers of the Katzar that have stepped aboard. “You are welcome to take care of your leader until the trial.”

“And what happens to us then?” one asks.

“If you aren’t guilty of any war crimes - which we’ll find out, mind - we’ll allow you to go free in Forenia, if you like,” says the lieutenant. He notices Bobkikov’s toolbox. “And what’s in there?”

“Tools for fixing the Katzar’s wheelchair,” Bobkikov answers.

The lieutenant eyes it suspiciously and opens it. “As well as weapons, it seems. I’ll be taking this.”

“Hey - hey - that’s my lunch!” shouts Bobkikov. The lieutenant pays him no mind. He turns to Nicolai. “What are those pills for?”

“Mr. Grigorievich is in bad health, sir, I’ll need these to take care of him-”

“Fine by me,” answers the lieutenant. He addresses the group as a whole. “As long as you cause no trouble you won’t be harmed, but mind, if you try anything, you’ll pay.”

At that point Kot kicks the guard closest to him, grabs his pistol, and points it at Ovechkin.

Ovechkin looks up. “What the hell-”

“Can’t kill you if you’re dead,” says Kot, and fires.

Absolutely nothing happens for a silent second before the gun explodes in his face and a piece of shrapnel bloodies his nose.

“Ridiculous!” says the lieutenant, furious. He grabs Kot by the hair. “It seems the good Katzar is as hated among his own people as he is with us! Men, take him to the brig.” He thrusts Kot forward, and the guards drag him away.

“I know a bit about medicine, I could help him if-” Nicolai says.

“Screw him!” says the lieutenant. He turns around and walks off, pushing Ovechkin forward and towards a door leading to the middle of the ship. Bobkikov tries to follow him. “I’ll be going with him,” he says.

“No, you’re not,” answers the lieutenant. “You think we’re going to let you stay with him? Stay on the deck.” He pushes Ovechkin through the doorway and down into the bowels of the ship.

All this time Kuro had been silently and stealthily looking for a way to ensure contact with the Katzar’s family. After creeping about the deck for some time, he finds an unattended radio. Quickly lugging it back to the side of the ship docked with the Crabby Wrench, he manages to hand it to the Katzarin, who takes it from under the railway at the side of the deck.

Meanwhile Nicolai paces up to the con tower that serves as the ship’s bridge. After a quick glance around to ascertain the design of the thing, he steps inside, goes up a flight of stairs, backs into a corner, and plants his ear on the wall in a carefully chosen spot.

“Commander, our men have succeeded in their mission. Ovechkin has been detained,” says the lieutenant.

“Good,” says an old, crackled voice. “Set a course for Forenia immediately. They have no idea that we tricked them into the iceberg?”

“None,” says the lieutenant. “Though with your permission, I’d like to inform them once their people are safely in our hands. They are good folk. Led astray by the poisonous words of Ovechkin.”

“You should do so,” says the commander. “And speaking of their people, what of that fellow standing outside with his ear pressed to the wall trying to hear what we have to say, completely oblivious to the fact that a few windows and mirrors do very well at detecting such intrusions?”

“I’ll go arrest him right away, Commander,” says the lieutenant. There is the sound of feet as he walks out.
